That's actually how I sort of feel as well (in regards to long term behaviour/values), with the addition that I see a lot of my day-to-day behavior sort of portraying Alpha values, too.

well, yeah, me, too. i mean i don't feel like i could reasonably see myself utilizing a message board solely to post pictures of animals doing cute things in a sort of alpha-subforum way, but i definitely like to joke a bit more than i've witnessed out of some of the gammas. and i'd like to think that in day to day life i'm a little more relaxed as well.

I wonder if I could be gamma sometimes. INTp friends I have I like really a lot, their humor always cracks me up and they seem to get mine. One particular ISFj I dated was also great although a bit boring.

And then I look at Gamma values and go "Eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeek!"

I knew an ENFp girl who I thought was ESFp for a long time. Good thing I realized she wasn't or I would still be trying to fuck her and wasting my time. ESFp/INTp ENFp/ISTp are good friends I think. There is a distinction which Smilingeyes makes between subtypes, where there is for example an ENFp-X; which is basically a balanced ENFp. That's the kind she was. What made me realize she wasn't ESFp was this:
1: Although she got my humour, sometimes our relationship seemed a bit like we were putting on a show for one another. There wasn't the sexual comfort of duality; more of a sexual tension bordering on anxiety between us. Sometimes I'd have trouble even talking to her without laughing or looking away, because I knew the reaction which was about to come, and she also had the same thing happening.
2: She didn't give a shit about doing anything meaningful, and when I'd start lightly touching on philosophy topics she'd get kind of disinterested and go off and flirt with this ESTp.
3: She had a preppy style of dress, and tried to convince me to redo my wardrobe and start wearing jock clothing
4: She listened to the red hot chili peppers obsessively
Also, I really enjoy smoking cigarettes with my bro who is ISTp-Si ... Yeah

what is it that bugs you about gamma values? fwiw i also ponder delta a lot but i'm not entirely sure it fits me. seems too transient.

It was based on the running joke about fake gammas. That's based on the repeating pattern here of people who want to identify as gammas, and of people who want to push people out of the gamma quadra. So in the end the consensus is that nobody actually is gamma.
