Thetans Zenu Volcanoes, oh man that is the biggest bullshit I've every heard!

A God who lives on a cloud and who created 1 planet named earth on the first day, and the estimated 40.000.000.000.000.000.000.000 stars on the second day. That makes much more sense!

Eh. Most religions are logically unsound. I just consider them to be a mental safety blanket and move on. There are a lot of people who take solace in the idea that there really is Someone Up There, that all of this is for a purpose, regardless of whether or not we can perceive it. So long as they don't harm anyone else, what harm does it do? *shrug*

I think this religion is unique, in that it is designed explicitly to answer our unanswerable questions, and fulfill whatever it is we seek in religion, while simultaneously creating a sort of absurdity which renders many of the negative behaviors you see in other religions (such as evangelicalism) impossible. Can you imagine a war over scientology? It's a very safe, fun, almost comical way to practice religion. At least, I hope that's what all this is about. Otherwise.....
I'd like to see what one of their conventions is like
I'm imagining there may be a certain weight lifted off your subconscious mind by rejecting our social christian values and accepting scientology.

Contradiction in terms. Apart from that, there are no answers... we're all doomed.
