Default Best/worst intertype relations for teaching and understanding

i had a similar thread to this about which type would be the best teacher. Seems to be some interest in the words that dont get through to people (quasi thread) so thought I would bring this up again.

Myself, probably a Te subtype Te type (ExTj or IxTp), Ti subtype IxTj. Ti subtype ENTp.. but not every time. Sometimes if they are too into their own worlds it is still hard to see what they are talking about. INFj also seem to be plainspoken, the ones that I have met.. but not all of them or most of them to me.

Those that seem to get what I am saying most often: ISFp, ISTp, Ne ENTp... ISTps when I talk about how I'm feeling about something.. not necessarily what I am talking about.

most difficult is ISFj (well, Olga) and no offense to her.. she is lovely.. just .. most likely the most confusing for me personally, strong Ni subtype INTp, maybe some ISTj.. not sure.. some Ne Subtype ENFp but ENFps.. its more I can't see where they are going then understanding the content of what they are saying.

People who don't understand me the most when I'm talking is probably ESFp, ENFp, ISTp, ENxj.

ESTjs don't usually get my mood or my meaning. But I don't know tons of them, only two or three. I know one ENTj and she gets me but she's like a bull in a china shop when it comes to emotions. So I stay away unless I have something very factual and straightforward to say, or if I'm complimenting her. If I wanted to talk about my feelings (which I don't often do), I'd go to another INFp, almost exclusively. Possibly ESTp if I were close to one. There's something about them that inspires trust. Which maybe doesn't make sense but I feel it nonetheless. INTjs are good for a rational shoulder to cry on although I sometimes have to clarify myself to them (well, to the one who is a very good friend of mine.) ESFps are great but I think it's hard for me to lower my guard with extraverted types of any sort (other than ESTp) because I don't trust that I have their confidence. INFjs almost never get me. My INFj mom acts like she gets me and I know she WANTS me to share with her and she's very sympathetic but never truly understands. ISFps are great, I feel like there's a high level of understanding & empathy between us. I almost always feel like they get me unless I'm talking about future potential stuff. then I get blank stares.

I like them. I want to like them. I keep going back because I feel like we have plenty in common. but there's always a disappointment. at some point in the conversation I start to feel that they disapprove of me, either of something I've said or of my way of saying it. and then once I can tell that they're holding back (or that I realize I'm holding back), it all gets shut down. I do pretty well with my mom since I'm so used to her but I find her advice almost always NOT something I can use.

ESEs don't understand my in-depth conversations... at all. Just if I go 'I look cute!' or 'this makes me happy.' and simple phrases like that. I don't really mind, I just know how to talk to them better.

I can get along with an ESE very well, if we're both doing an activity together. But psychological comfort just doesn't exist.

LIIs and IEIs seem to understand what I'm actually saying the best.

infps make one of the best priests/psychologists/counselors I agree. Any of the self-sacrificing types.

you shouldn't be looking to others for advice all the time.

yeah, I hear ya. I don't look for advice that often. But the next time you have three kids within 21 months of each other, you may find yourself looking for advice on the rare occasion.

not to mention the fact that the first "one" was twins! rotfl

and I was so freaked out that the next one was going to be another set of twins. but I have to say, my little guy is just the best. I wouldn't trade him for the world. so it turned out well. but, um, yeah, we took care of that whole birth control thing.

best: Ni-ENFj (<3 her), Se-ESTp...they just get what I say without me having to explain anything—as if they were experiencing it themselves.

worst: ESFj, ESTj...need I even elaborate lol...Ni void ftw
