Default Not sure what he is..

It probrably sounds pretty creepy, but I type anyone who intrigues me. my goal is to have a living example of each type. Theres this one guy in my theatre group who I cant seem to figure out.

-He's pretty friendly and says hi to everyone, but talks to a select group of people the most.

-Every now and then he cracks jokes to the group as a whole [theres about 30 of us].

this made me think he's definately extraverted.. All up until..

    - we had a deep little moment where he said he feels like he puts up a huge mask to who he really is and that no one know who he truely is or how he truely feels.

-Hes annoyed by "airheaded" gossipy types

    - He seems to be a very hard worker and very diciplined.. but then again he plays hard as well.

Any ideas of what type he could be?

    *edit*

OK. Yeah that was really broad, so i'm adding more info.. I'm not sure if any of this will help but i'm just thinking of things..

-The moments where he's not joking around he seems very serious, in fact he seems to have a really serious poker face. If you didnt know him, you'd probrably think he's mean just based on the look he usually has on his face

    - His whole demeanor is slightly slouched and very masculine.

    - tends to be sarcasticc

    - Works out a lot

    - Very artistic and creative

-says its wrong to let kids "raise themselves"

    - Does not find it nessesary to follow rules.. although he does for the most part.

-says he used to bend over backwards to please everyone

    - Very intelligent.

-writes poetry. most of it is sad and talks about not trusting people and wanting acceptance and wanting to be loved.. or how nothing matters or how people waste their lives on pointless things..

    - all this is only in his poetry. he never talks about those things outwardly to people.

    -appears very confident and independent

-has a very defined edgy style. jokes that it is "for the ladies"

-we have a weird habit of singing songs out of the blue.. just for the hell of it.

    - Likes parties

-Sometimes can be blunt when explaining things.

well, they are all introverted perceiving types, if you take them at face value.

Yeah I read the additional stuff and I would say ISTp or ISFp. Hard to tell with males since even the ethical types can hold their feelings in quite well. That poker face is common among the male ISFps I know.

I dunno if I have a poker face or not. I often feel like I wear my heart on my sleeve but I guess that's only when I feel really comfortable. Hmm. Yeah you're right.

If i had a dollar for every time someone told me i have the perfect poker face, I'd be a rich woman. Melix, you can't elaborate anymore on this mystery person?

edit, errm...the poetry thing doesn't go along with my typing of ISTP. I have zero interest/patience for that sort of thing. Not saying other ISTP's dont, but yeah....not my thing whatsoever.

I could relate w a lot of the description as well, up until the poetry bit. I have no interest in writing poetry [other than Haiku, which I write as a joke to pass the time in boring classes while appearing to take notes]. And if I did write poetry, you can be sure I wouldn't show it to anyone I didn't wholly trust, if anyone at all.

Mystery guy = ISFp, maybe?? I dunno. ISTp still seems like a good possibility.

well does he look you right in the face when he's talking to you or do his eyes kind of bounce around all over the place as he's thinking? ISFps tend to look you straight in the eyes. INFps would have bouncy eyes. Does he seem very sensitive to the emotional atmosphere? Does he visibly shrink from negative emotions (ISFp) or does he seem impervious to them (ISTp)? Poetry could be any type but seems INFp>ISFp>ISTp to me.

He definately looks me right in the face.

I'm not sure about how he reacts to an emotional atmosphere. I know he'd be concerned but I dont think he'd act emotional or visibly shaken. He always keeps him calm.

hmmm. I'm guessing ISFp>ISTp because of the poetry.

Yeah, ISTp's don't know how to write and express themselves on paper.

awww, that's not what I meant. Just that they were maybe less likely to choose poetry as a method of expression? I could be wrong of course.

For me, writing/reading poetry would be just about as enjoyable as slitting my wrists. This guy can't be ISTP. I can express myself very well in writing--actually, that's really the only time i express my true feelings other than anger.
