Which works better: Semi-duality or Activity Relations?

Semi-duality or activation?

It's not a trick question; I'm genuinely interested to hear people's response to this, because I'm not sure there is a "right" or "wrong" answer. It's basically down to what you think is more important; complete quadra value compatibility or functional ordering.

I can also add that ESFjs make me feel shy a lot of the time. They're so wonderfully sociable that it makes me feel awkward a lot of the time.

I find semi-duals more stimulating than activity partners. But activity is probably better over the long term, because I know with semi-duals, once I get over their awesome , it's gonna get boring, whereas the activity will keep me interested.

I've have a better temperament compability with EJs than IP:s (mostly because of the extraversion, irrationality isn't really a problem), but I find victim men repulsive sexually. I've had a lot of great discussions with LIEs, but we can't really achieve/work together on anything concrete, and grow easily annoyed at each other if the communication is prolonged. I'm currently with a Te-SLI, and the only problem has been that both would prefer the other to take the initiative for action a bit more thant what is natural. So, activity.

I used to think I was IEI .. still may be.. so comparing my relationships with LSI vs SEE assuming I'm IEI -- definitely LSI. But then again they're most likely my dual so why am I saying anything hahaha

SEEs and I can get along, but it does grow boring after a while - there's definitely not enough stimulating conversation there.. it's like we are comfortable with eachother but it's not exciting

one of the things that make me think esi>eii for myself is that i find Ni polr extremely frustrating. and if i felt stifled and controlled in a relationship with an sli, i wonder how much worse it would be in a relationship with an lse. irrationality is difficult for me to deal with in romantic relationships, but i'm always attracted to Ip types anyway.

Just looking at my closest friends, I have more semi-duals than activities. I think SEEs find me slightly boring and I not really compliant enough.

I don't like LSE's lack of Ni. The EJ temperament is nice and goes well with my like of stable communication/knowing what I'm getting etc but Ni PoLr just bugs me pretty quickly. Theyre okay to occassionally do things with but I do not see it lasting more than a few weeks relationship-wise (or even friendship-wise). The LSEs I know I'm okay with at a distance and find their straightforward nature alright, but they're opinions ..ah man... Too black/white.


ILIs... I like them as well...at a distance. I've never been close with one so Ive no idea how'd get along as friends. I dont like feeling forced to be more outgoing than I am though.. If it's my choice, ya sure. If it's because someone else needs a continuos prodding to do something or interact with me..it would quickly grow tiring and I wouldn't want to have to play a role that isn't how I naturally act to get along with someone.

I only know one female SEE and one female EII well, and I get along with them for different reasons.

The SEE (Activity) is fun and sexy, and there is a lot of mutual understanding there, but she seems to be very, very unserious, and that is a problem for me.

The EII (Semi-dual) is super down-to-earth and helpful, but there is almost zero sexual attraction. Plus, while we can make plans together, we aren't actually able to implement them very well.

Activity as it implies gets tiresome. My ideas never get practically concrete enough and so on what ESE wants. And ESE's shower me with emotions which seem to come from the void aka they are not wholesomely grounded looking for greater connection being only a driving mechanism for their life.

Semi-duality between two opposite ethical orientations are awkward to begin although this is comparable to mirage
(in which lots of IEI seem too.. simple in logical potential perceptual terms somehow their PolR logic might irritate me a little while duals do not have this effect) and less stressful as a a whole.

For me relationships with LSI have been the easiest to form and some of the easiest to maintain. Very chill.
Relationships with SEE are also easy to form but almost impossible to maintain. It's like we always get to a point where neither one of us care to maintain it anyway cause it feels like work and too much compromise.

I'd say that at least for me semi-duality seems better/more exciting at first but because of romantic attitiudes (I really like that part of socjonics) is fine just for friendship. My best friend is ESE and everyone used to think that we are more than friends, however I literally never considered that. Actually I do not consider any Ne-user as a romantic partner.

Activity seems to be more calm for me (well, two introverts) but I think I might be ready to try out a bedroom compatibility in some circumstances.
