    Default Allie as ESFp

She conveyed her Ni dual seeking to me (without saying that it was Ni dual seeking), in the following words, more or less: "I don't reflect on things, I just do them. I like it when someone can help me reflect and look at the future outcomes of my actions; I like it when people bring that aspect out of me. Most explanations/ideas I come up with on the spot."

As for Ti polr: "I dislike having systems thrown at me. I feel uncertain about how to deal with them and trust what I see more than some explanation. It is as if once one piece doesn't fit, I feel that the whole system isn't going to work."

As per the "incessant Fe" she displays, see Fe demonstrative.

    Ok, makes sense.

About the systems; yes, but SEEs do appreciate explanations. It could be weak without being truly a PoLR.

If Ti PoLR, it's a, uh, "counter-phobic" one. SEEs are typically not concerned with the idea of "systems". They're really about sheer, raw +: "what works to increase my power, wealth, and influence, and standing among those close to me?" Of course, one possible manifestation of Ti PoLR is precisely a "blind" adherence to some system or ideas, but usually not consciously.

True. I have made the mistake in the past of underestimating how "Fe" SEEs can be, which is one reason why I did not agree with Rick's typing of FDR as SEE, but it is my tentative typing now.

My conclusion from all this? No idea. I have no clear opinion on her type. I would say that quadra is very likely.

Right, and this is how her position on Ti seems. She doesn't treat it in the same way I would expect an ESI to (attempting to engage in it, albeit minimally, to compensate for deficiencies); instead, she seems fairly blind to it.

I agree that Se/Ni quadra is very likely.

I think it's more likely than ESI.

It's a possibility, but it's up to her to evaluate how likely it is to be truer than her current self-typing.

It's up to her to make the right decision about her type, you mean.

If knowing my Socionics type came down to me making a "decision" I would have had one over a year ago. I like making decisions. Unfortunately, this has nothing to do with decision-making.

SEE certainly makes more sense than ESI.
But, for a certainty, back then,
We loved so many, yet hated so much,
We hurt others and were hurt ourselves...

Yet even then, we ran like the wind,
    Whilst our laughter echoed,

Question: Couldn't that also be introvert-seeking? Isn't it a charicteristic of all introverts to want to reflect on things?

You seem too focused on the immediate reality to be an Ni dominant. You just seem too aware, lol. Gamma SF seems like a good option. It's hard to tell much beyond that, but the sx is there!

It's not a decision, it's an evaluation - you can evaluate reality, but you cannot decide if something is true or false when you have no influence on it.

it can be kind of creepy....but some people find a way of complimenting without coming on strong or trying to insinuate something.

im sensitive about compliments on my looks in general. if it has to do with my style or hair, im ok with it it because i actually had a hand in creating that effect...maybe even weight since i control that too for the most part...but anything else i can't take credit for and don't know what to say.

compliments on beauty are things i would prefer to happen in private...and not in a casual "oh your so beautiful" kind of way....sometimes you an feel the compliment just from the way someone looks at you or....well other variations of that sort of thing. >_>

anyway....im not good at VI....so....i'm going to refrain from commenting on that.

I don't know. Her eye movements seem to reflect an Se preference - discrete, static jumps, moving from object to object. I highly doubt she's Ne/Si valuing.

I tried hard to think of which types would come to my mind from that picture if I did not know who it was.

    My thoughts were:

    - Se/Ni quadra
    - probably not LSI, SLE

Which leaves 6 types: EIE, IEI, ESI, LIE, ILI, SEE

Obs: I am not typing "Allie" -- those are "my VI impressions from the person in that picture".

Could you elaborate on some of the similarities you see between them? Even if it is just a subjective vibe (lol), it could help illuminate what you mean.

I didnt mean Allie as ILI; I meant the girl I worked with.

It's the "doe eyes," the shape of the face, the general demeanor of demureness combined with withheld tension and occasional "bursts" of assertiveness/emotionality.
But, for a certainty, back then,

Younger pictures of Jolie they look more similar. Type "young angelina jolie" into google image search. But I really don't do VI much or well, so putting a type to a photo. . . eh.
