    Default Coheed and Cambria

Beta as fuck. Probably more NF than ST, in terms of their themes, but DAMN.

The song, "No World for Tomorrow" is archetypal beta shit IMO. The noble war, revolution, fighting to the end for the vision - it's enthralling lol.

Some of the lyrics really convey it.

Wait! There's never been a mess like this.
Oh, no more hands to hold.
When the page turns tomorrow with the hurt to give up.
Curse us as God has (sold us)
Believe me, Hell has no room for your crime.
So beat me, till the blood and the bone finds our end near.

Bye, bye world, or will our hope still hold on?
    Boy, you're never going see,
The things that will come of these (days.)
Raise your hands high! >> which is basically yelled at the top of their lungs lol
    Young brothers and sisters,
There's a world's worth of work and a need for you.
Oh, a change is coming, feel these doors now closing in.
Is there no world for tomorrow, if we wait for today?

So march to the drumming, show them you're coming.
    You've been their play toy.
    Cut to the carving,
    Bleed them 'til robbing.
    Enough! They'll take no more

    REVOLUTION, FUCKERS!!!

Ok, I've listened to it a few times and this is my favourite part:

Is there no world for tomorrow, if we wait for today?
The song's pretty awesome. I'm listening to their other stuff on youtube at the moment.

That line had the most depth to it IMO. We cannot wait for the present moment to grant us an opening; we must seize the opportunity (by force, if necessary) and forge the tomorrow for ourselves.

Emotionally speaking, my favorite part is this:

That shit just reverberates like crazy. It's cause the music dies down a little and the drums become more apparent, which conveys it as the silent march before the climactic battle. It also conjures the image of the lone warriors rising quietly from the shadows, or perhaps, the noble brothers marching together, letting the enemy know that they are well on their way, preparing to destroy them.

Yeah, I love this band. They're actually kind of odd considering the music they play and the scene they came out of.

Cambria is also the classical name for Wales. It's derived from the Welsh Cymru. It's very commonly seen in fantasy novels (many of which are Celtic in inspiration).

It's also the root of the Cambrian period in geological time, the first appearence of hard-bodied animals.
