Default functions vs. information aspects vs. information elements

    Let's try it like this:

The perspective of a situation/object/concept that is there to be perceived (whether or not anyone is actually perceiving it) is an information aspect.

Information as it is actually being perceived and processed is an information element.

The manner in which the information is being perceived and processed is a function.
