Default yet another topic about the election

I just wanted to say that this is the first time I've ever heard so many people really supporting their candidate of choice. During every other election I can remember, most people didn't really like either of the candidates and saw their choice as the lesser of two evils.

I have not been satisfied with either of the P or VP candidates so far.

Neither have I. They really need to start letting the libertarian candidate participate in the debates.

Unfortunately, North Carolina has one of the nation's worst ballot access laws, which makes it practically impossible from most third parties to participate in state elections.

This is the way it will be from here on. Following McCain's defeat the age of visionaries running for president will be over. It'll just be charismatics from here on out, like the founders intended.

That would be very nice! But you know that will probably not happen.

I must say I am rather appalled by both candidates, but McCain especially. Both of these men will bring more wars at a time the Western financial system is contracting at the largest pace since the Great Depression. This is a recipy for disaster.

I will hear Discojoe's twin, AKA my brother, give all Discojoe's anti-Obama messages to me all day tomorrow at my nephew's birthday. My brother likes McCain. He loves Ron Paul, but he likes McCain. He certainly does NOT like Obama or Biden. I have not yet heard his opinion on Palin but I'm sure he'll tell me tomorrow as he is very opinionated and he loves giving his opinion. Especially to me as I am a Democrat.

Those two are so alike when I read Discojoe's posts I hear them in my brother's voice. And I did before Discojoe considered himself ISFj even. They're just very similar.

My nephew just turned 5. He's such a little sweetheart. <3

I need a gamma NT to get me interested enough to put effort into reading and watching politics...I want to participate but I don't have any information to back up anything I might say.

Don't worry, that doesn't stop the politicians either.

You should better place your effort in more valuable pursuits. Politics are overrated.

Don't think that any site you visit is completely unbiased ... but I like how you can pick any candidate and it will show you the way that person has voted, things they've said (and they include links in case you're concerned things are being taken out of context), and they admit when they have no data on a particular issue (such as Palin on immigration).

Hey look everybody, it's a test! Go take it, quick!

An interesting thing to point out is that this may be the first time in history that the VP candidate could be the reason their running mate gets elected.
