    Default ennegram type 1

I think I may be an e1. However, I do have a father who has always been around and being an e1 can be hard knowing that despite his attempts to become involved in my life there seems to be a connection missing. For instance he takes it upon himself to try to help me out but it can be irritating when his help is counterproductive and I feel like he is controlling me. He informed me the other day that he took it upon himself to find a job a job for me and made plans for me to go to an interview that I never agreed to, although I never said no. Are there any other e1s that would like to talk of there experiences?

I'm an E1, but I'd never let my dad choose a job for me. He's an ENFp and doesn't understand me at all. If my mom (an ISTp) lined something up for me, it'd be nice. She already takes care of setting up all my college classes.
