    Default +/- and pragmatism

I noticed that people used their + elements in a pragmatic way, and - elements in an idealistic way.

For example, SLE's and LSI's are usually pragmatic when they talk about rules, norms and such (+), but they have big dreams about influencing the Real World (-).

LIE's and ILI's value efficiency, activity, processes, algorithms, and profit for themselves (-), whilst LSE's and SLI's see them as a condition for society's well-being (+).

EIE's and IEI's see emotional interaction as a mean to socialise (+), whereas ESE's and SEI's see it as a mean to be the shit (-).

    and so on.

Within a - there can be a +. People use - elements idealistically because they are processing their friends with them, and generally trying to see a reflection of themselves in others. To make the world ideal, make everyone just like you.... (though making yourself like others is much advised when practical).

They've become "concretized" as Smilex might put it and you begin to apply (and perhaps even deplete) the +elements in pursuit of perfecting/concretizing the abstract -element in your ego bloc.

I'm not going to get into a discussion about Fe at this juncture. But to use Fi as an example -- Delta Ne has recovered all these "paths untaken" by deconstructing the power structure of the opposite Quadra -- this at some expense of the exacting ethics the harsher Gammas use. Then Alpha NT begins closing the possibilities by eliminating the ones inconsistent with -Ti. But they'll use the -Ti rather freely -- revising and perfecting their conclusions with new premises and such as they arise in the mind, this opposed to the consistency over time in application the Beta ST value. In applying this consistency, Beta ST wields Se rather liberally, more so than the Gamma SF who are moderated in their Se use by their pursuit of the aforementioned exacting ethics. Etc.
We can also consider how all the STs have plus thinking and minus sensing, all the SFs have plus sensing and minus feeling, all the NFs have plus feeling and minus intuition, and all the NTs have plus intuition and minus thinking.
How this affects the different focus of the different clubs seems to be clear when we take into consideration that +/- are interchangeable with concrete/abstract.

    In some way, yes.
