Default wow classes & their types

The differences all depend on spec, of course. Two classes with different specs will seem like quasi-identicals most likely. A protection warrior and a dps shadow priest doesn't exactly have good synergy (their spec is much more friendly with other casters), so they'd turn out to be Conflictors, but a protection tanking warrior and a healing holy priest would naturally be duals.

    Warriors: ESTps & ESTjs
    Rogues: ISTps & ISTjs
    Priests: INFps & INFjs
    Mages: INTps & INTjs
    Hunters: ISFjs
    Warlocks: ENTjs
    Shamans: ISFps & ESFps
    Paladins: ENFps & ESFjs
    Druids: ENTps & ENFjs

    Alpha party:
    Mage, Shaman, Paladin, Druid

    Beta party:
    Priest, Warrior, Rogue, Druid

    Gamma party:
    Warlock, Hunter, Mage, Shaman

    Delta party:
    Warrior, Paladin, Priest, Rogue

Alpha is about mediating & finding compromises within society and remaining childlike, not evolving into a full role - so it makes sense it has the most hybrids.

Beta is about epic confrontations and differences both clashing and meshing, and high school movies where there's a lot of people who are way different mingling together, so it has the most variety.

Gamma prides itself on being tough & direct, so it has lots of pure damage classes.

Delta is big on protecting & maintaining social values & humanitarianism & the like, so it has lots of good defense and heals.

My favorite D&D character to play was a Gnomish Rogue.

And here I was thinking this might be something interesting, like class structures within society and type dispersal....as in "WOW! Class blah blah" rather than "World of Warcraft! Class blah blah"

    Carry on.

Well, fuck you. I'm not an ILE to give you amazing, generalized insights on humanity while you make me a chicken salad sandwich. =D

I use not . I rant about society class structures and how much they suck all the time, but then people get out their pitch forks and accuse me of being some sort of communist apologizer *cough* so I shut up.

Sorry, I'm in kind of a bad mood. Today some guy shot some woman in the head and then shot himself dead at my local station carpark. End result: Me staring at a dead guy and my now crime scene impounded car for 20 minutes while someone came to pick me up.

    I'm in a bad mood.

    World of warcraft? Seriously?

that is what i was getting at. if there is an inescapable appropriation that is required in the act of understanding, this brings into question the validity of socionics in describing what is real, and hence stubborn contradictions that continue to plague me.

I mainly played hybrid classes as well (shaman was my first main character).

Though I thoroughly enjoyed the warlock class.
