Default how to take a shower

Take the hand towel from the rack by the sink and throw it on the floor by the shower (it should get changed once a day anyways). Make sure the towel for your body (and another for your hair, if applicable) are within reach of the shower.

Turn on the shower and get in. Wet your hair and apply shampoo. Rinse. Apply conditioner.

Leave the conditioner on your hair for now. Wet your sponge, shower puff, gloves, washcloth, loofah, or whatever you use. Apply shower gel, lather, and wash body. Use suds to shave (if applicable).

Rinse hair, body, and sponge (or whatever). While conditioner is being rinsed out, stretch any muscles that feel tight, especially neck muscles (if applicable). Allow the water to flow into ear canals.

Wash face. Make sure your face and body are rinsed off well. Rinse hair and body with luke warm or cool water if desired.

Use a pumice stone on feet if desired (keep in mind that callouses are there for a reason though... if you take off callouses that you need, you'll end up with blisters). Cut toe and finger nails is desired.

Use a Q tip to clean your outer ears and behind your ears, but don't put it in your ear canal (you already cleaned those in the shower anyways).

Apply antiperspirant or deodorant. Touch up eyebrows with tweezers if desired. Apply facial products if desired. Blow dry hair if desired. Throw the hand towel from the floor in with the dirty clothes (or your boyfriend will scold you) and put a fresh hand towel on the rack. Get dressed.

You managed to make something incredibly simple into something incredibly complicated. That is Bizarro-world .

did you think we would not notice this:

I'm tempted to post a topic about bathing procedures just to see how people use it to justify the ideas they already have about my type.

Agreed. My brother for one would totally benefit from that last point, and also the one about replacing towels rather than re-using...

Hit sleep on alarm 5-6 times.

Roll out of bed; curse. Twice.

    Grab towl, toothbrush & toothpaste.

Make it halfway to bathroom before remembering face cloth. Go back to room, and realize you did in fact leave it the bathroom yesterday morning. Curse again.

Drop towel on floor, use toilet.

Forget to flush, curse, then flush.

Turn on shower and then curse when the water pressure sucks because of flushing toilet.

Step in shower, wet body, then head/hair.

Grab face cloth, and go to town on nether region. Curse when you remember you should have washed your face first.

Grab shampoo - apply to hair, beard, armpits, and spice of life. Wait a few seconds while comtemplating life as a zombie. Rinse.

Grab face cloth again, and assess its cleanliness. Decide you don't really give a fuck, and then wash face and the rest of your body.

Realize you left the toothbrush on the sink, and curse. Curse again when you open the shower door and you're hit by a blast of cold air.

    Brush teeth. Rinse mouth.

Ignore roommate banging on the door. It's locked, fuck them for sleeping in.

Shut off shower, open door, grab towel, close door, dry off body from top to bottom.

Step out of shower, and eat breakfast naked.

    Wash yourself.

Wow; I just start with my hair and work my way down. I used to do it the other way around. You make it so...complicated. You have a tub shower, right? No way could you shave in one of those tiny things.

It was a joke topic. But yes, I have a tub shower. I could shave in a stand up shower though. (If it weren't possible, they wouldn't be so popular, right?)

    all sorts of bad
Posts I wrote in the past contain less nuance.
If you're in this forum to learn something, be careful. Lots of misplaced toxicity.

~a certain mysterious power that may prove terribly fascinating to the extraverted man, for it touches his unconscious.
