    Default Hugo's Socionics Test

    http://www.shorttext.com/5r4uwe

This is a new test created by Hugo and coded by thehotelambush with help from Sigma. Make sure to download all five parts or it won't work. Type the option number that describes you the best and press the 'Enter' key. If you are not sure which option to choose, just press the 'Enter' key, and you will be presented with another question.

By nature you mean the .exe extention or the dynamic library that comes along?

both, and the zip file which probably runs some autoextraction script which also probably won't work.

if i cared i would try to run it in wine; if that didn't work i would try to go into the test files and try to see what the structure of the test was.

given that it's hugo's test and appears to be another restructuring of bad dichotomy description choosing, i decided to skip the above couple steps as irrelevant.

Yeah, it's a bit hard to read.

Looks like your investigative skills are on the bullet there, niffweed.

Well the point is if you can't choose between one you hit enter. It then brings up a new list of questions. You hit enter if you can't decide.

I took it again a couple of times with all the possibly working combinations and I got: SLI twice, ILI twice and LII twice.

@ diana - i had to right click the zip file and tell winrar extract the contents to my desktop, in a folder, to get it to work. idk why but i got the same error you did. i tried that and it helped for me but maybe not for you.

You're supposed to press return if you are uncertain of an answer, then you get more questions accordingly (if you are saying what I think you are saying ).

I got ILI and LII, and I feel ILL.

How can you score differently if you take it more than once? It's the same test, correct? The questions aren't different, they don't change. I'm not understanding that.

edit, nevermind. I see how that's possible. I got SLI this time. Seems like an accurate test to me.

I downloaded 5 files from hugo plus opened an exe file. The test says I'm a very trusting person.

Don't trust any test too much. What you identify as and which quadra feels right count much much more. Though Hugo's tests don't generally suck as much as most tests. Still, tests are tricky. I'll even test differently one day to the next based on what mood I'm in.

    I agree with this.

I think I'm testing like this, honestly, because I've been a bit depressed and in a rut recently. Which is not a statement to say that IEI's are such, but just that I haven't really been ... there.

You do not need to unzip (open) the zip file, if that's what you're doing. Just put all the downloaded files in one folder and run "hugotest.exe". Don't touch the zip file, just leave it as it is.

SLI/ILI is always completely equal for me on these tests but when coupled with the descriptions, there is no way I am ILI...so then I'm wondering if perhaps these tests are a complete waste of time.

Heh, yeah, I'm pretty much over tests at this point. I never score ESI.

For a while I would think I was ILI when I was hungry, then go back to LII when I was happy again. I think what you enjoy being is what you are.

EDIT: Either that or that's type-related and only Merry types are what they enjoy being. Of course, then it comes down to the question of whether you like to enjoy what you're being.
