I have nightmares about this movie. My sister literally watched it 20+ times when I was a kid. Similarly with Girls Just Want to Have Fun.
The fact that you guys have brought it up has made me recover many a memory I've tried very hard to repress. Thanks a bunch!
Seriously though I hated Dirty Dancing.

Yeah, my impression without too much thought is ESTj for Johnny and ENFp or INFj for Baby. But fictional characters are not always well-enough developed to type well.

I always LOVED the move. But so did one of my good INFp friends.
Baby seems a bit like an ENFp, but also kind of like an INFp. She has the humanitarian thing/independent thing going on (which could be either).
Johnny seems like either an ESTp (prob more likely) or possibly an ISTp. He has the whole "rebel" thing going on.
However, when Johnny locks his keys in the car, he kicks a post, pulls it from the ground, slams it into the window (scattering glass everywhere), Baby cheers and they jump in. I remember thinking "ouch! shattered glass everywhere! That'd piss me off to have to sit on all that glass" Kind of an anti-Si scene. So maybe ESTp/INFp.
It's so cheesy now that I'm not a kid. But I do want her abs!!
Hi! I'm an ENFP. :-)
Nobody puts Baby in a corner.
That's all of got to say.
I always thought IEI for Baby and for Johnny SLE. But I really love the movie . I think Johnny is E8 anyway.
Johnny would be a good ISTp and Baby ISFp

Dual type (as per tcaudilllg)
Enneagram 5 (wings either 4 or 6)?
I'm constantly looking to align the real with the ideal.I've been more oriented toward being overly idealistic by expecting the real to match the ideal. My thinking side is dominent. The result is that sometimes I can be overly impersonal or self-centered in my approach, not being understanding of others in the process and simply thinking "you should do this" or "everyone should follor this rule"..."regardless of how they feel or where they're coming from"which just isn't a good attitude to have. It is a way, though, to give oneself an artificial sense of self-justification. LSE

I don't think she's ISFp, she's so unfocused.
What does being unfocused have to do with not being SEI? Being introvert, unfocused might be a very common thing; SEI are clumsy and break all kinds of body parts because of the lack of attention to their external environment.

Hm, I've never seen a clumsy SEI although there might be one... I wouldn't say they don't pay attention to their external environment as well. I go for NF for this girl but I'm curious why you think SEI.
