    Default T.E. Lawrence

EIE in my opinion. Fe and Se valuing helped to organise the Arab factions to rise up against Turkish rule. Victim behaviour; he was a allegedly masochist.

If you've seen Lawrence of Arabia (historically inaccurate in some places), you'll see where I'm coming from.

I think he has been typed as LIE by Expat in the past.
But, for a certainty, back then,
We loved so many, yet hated so much,
We hurt others and were hurt ourselves...

Yet even then, we ran like the wind,
    Whilst our laughter echoed,
    Under cerulean skies...

Ages ago I typed him as ILI, but more recently I became inclined to EIE. I agree with you. I thought for a while LIE, but EIE makes more sense.

One of his closest long-term friends was the poet and writer Robert Graves, who I think was IEI.

For a more subdued, and perhaps somewhat more accurate (but not entirely) portrayal of his personality, he appeared in some 3 episodes of Young Indiana Jones, which always tried to portray historical figures accurately.

This would be the appropriate thread for showing Alan Bennett's TE Lawrence comedy monologue that he did with Beyond the Fringe, but I am unable to find the video.

    Is this it?

Yes, but it is not of best quality and hardly the full length of the sketch.
