alphas really fucking piss me off. At first, getting close to them might seem like a good idea, but then they end up shitting all over everything and making you miserable at every turn. Stay away while you still can

    Ahhhhh
Se has that effect on Alphas.
...the human race will disappear. Other races will appear and disappear in turn. The sky will become icy and void, pierced by the feeble light of half-dead stars. Which will also disappear. Everything will disappear. And what human beings do is just as free of sense as the free motion of elementary particles. Good, evil, morality, feelings? Pure 'Victorian fictions'.

hahah agreed warlord. It's so funny. Alphas think they can talk down to us to us like we aren't going to do anything, but then we respond by showing them what REAL CONFIDENCE IN CONFRONTATION is all about, and they get this look on their face like
"omg!!! wtf, is he serious?? i'm so scared!! i thought we were friends!!" and then they bow down and start kissing your ass like they should have been all along.... ha ha ha.

Beta will win in the end! It's okay if Gamma takes care of Alpha first.

Not in my experience, but then again, I have learned to distinguish between "When a friend says he'll call you" and "When an acquaintance says he'll call you", and not so much "When Type X says he'll call you..."

I know you're joking, but this is a very anti-Alpha idea. All the Beta STs who like ordering people around may think they have power over us, but their power is tied to the organizations that mediate it. Alphas "win" by simply leaving the organization, rather than trying to take it over - who cares who gets to be "leader"?

With Gamma SFs it's different. Their power is mediated by relationships, so Alpha NTs are helpless to understand/respond to it. That's why Alpha SFs are so good at diffusing paranoia about it.

Do you have no passion?! And as a side note, what if the organization means so much to an alpha, that he or she cannot just walk away to become some refugee, when the right thing to do is to fight and or compete?

I'm going to have to side with THA on this one. It's my general inclination to rebel against anyone who claims to be my leader. I might speak for the group or move to action when I feel like things aren't moving fast enough, but any kind of actual clearcut position would automatically make me rebel and turn away. On principle, really.

Okay, so in another words, if a system is not suitable, Alphas tend to divest from it. I could certainly relate to that.

Yes, but it's the fact that, to Alphas, the organization itself is less important than the idea it was meant to represent. The organization may die, but the idea will live on - you cannot destroy an idea.

QFT. wow this is spot on alpha. when i am done with an organization i typically just leave. but my ideas have infused themselves wherever i have worked and they live on. my last 3 jobs have been like this...i've set up systems, procedures, programs, set the tone of the clinical work, all of which lives on to this day in all three organizations. not to be self important, but i have had a profound influence on my field in my area through my full time work and through teaching at the university.

but, sadly, this is why alphas don't get credit for their work. because we leave. and other people although they can see that the idea still blossoms and gives fruit, their attention is focused on who is running what at that particular time. and yeah, we don't usually run organizations...i guess we infiltrate them and plant the seeds that become the plants that truly represent the product (and process) of the organization. and when these plants die, we return to plant new ones....and they take over.

ah well i guess we don't really value power and recognition so much, at least in the present. history books always eventually credit the planters of seeds though.

if we didnt have alphas we'd be living in a spiritual dictatorship. we also probably wouldnt have computers, because intps would just imagine the possibility of a computer and leave it at that. maybe talk a bit about how a computer could theoretically work.

hahah agreed warlord. It's so funny. Alphas think they can talk down to us to us like we aren't going to do anything, but then we respond by showing them what REAL CONFIDENCE IN CONFRONTATION is all about, and they get this look on their face like
"omg!!! wtf, is he serious?? i'm so scared!! i thought we were friends!!" and then they bow down and start kissing your ass like they should have been all along.... ha ha ha.
I could so kick your ass. Why don't you try picking on somebody my own size?
