    Default Some Rappers

Being undeniably uber-white, there is paradoxically a part of my persona that is intractably attracted to the lyrical life of living large. Therefore I will now type some of my favorite rappers.

    Eminem - IEI (4 so/sx or sx/so)
    Atmosphere - Ni-LIE, maybe Ni-EIE
    Bizarre - SEI or IEI
    T.I. - EIE-Fe (probably 3w4 so/sp)
Lil' Wayne - IEI (probably 4w3 sx/so; thanks Nick)
    Young Jeezy - SLE (probably 8w7 sp/sx)
    Rick Ross - LSI-Se (probably 6w7 sx/sp)
    Project Pat - SLE-Ti (8w9 sp/so)
    Dr. Dre - SLE-Ti (8 sp/sx)
    Snoop Dogg - SEI-Fe (9w8 sx/so)
Obie Trice - ESE-Fe (2w3 sp/so) (not too sure on this one but it seems to work)

But, for a certainty, back then,
We loved so many, yet hated so much,
We hurt others and were hurt ourselves...

Yet even then, we ran like the wind,
    Whilst our laughter echoed,
    Under cerulean skies...

Could also be sp influence and the fact that he is Ti subtype and not Se (like, perhaps, Jeezy).

Hmmm...I dunno, I see Dre as sort of Se by nature but having a strong focus on Ti (remember he was "the man" at first, being the "star" as a rapper, but eventually found his real niche and preferred role being "behind the scenes" as a producer). I guess Se-LSI could work, but he seems like an 8 to me.

As for Obie Trice as IEI, I could see it. EIE isn't altogether out of the picture, either; in fact I could see him as more 3w2 than any kind of 4 personally. Maybe his laid-back "smoothness" is more sp related than Socionics.

Added Snoopaloop (lol Will Ferrel); knew I was forgetting someone. I personally think he is the absolute epitome of a 9w8 sx/so. Semi-Dual with Dre makes sense, too: they worked well together and were successful, but it wasn't quite "all there" yet. Dre only really took off in terms of collaboration when Eminem came onto the scene. I mean, NWA was big, and Snoop will always be the man (Still D.R.E was an undeniably dope collaboration effort), but Eminem produced by Dre = holyshitaasdffsadfjnewrhqp

I had a gay male ESTp friend once (yes, gay men can be ESTps grr) that was crazy about 'em so I think you're onto something there. I mean he totally was fascinated by him. I know a lot of white suburban boys were crazy about him too, but he adored the guy.

T.I. is Fe-EIE to the core... he's one of a few rappers who can actually pull off an understated alpha male role without sacrificing flair or authenticity (3w4 sp/sx most likely).

unsure on jay-z, I had been considering IEE on and off. he has a similar congested bratty feel as p diddy, a pretty obvious IEE 3.

and lol 50 cent is SEI-Si 9w8 sp/so... pretty much aftermath's token alpha.

Yeah agreed on TI, thought he was LSI until I saw a documentary. Fe sub seems right but I was thinking so/sp; I think it would explain the temperance of the Alpha Male role. Sp/sx would probably be prone to unwitting exacerbation; I think sx is the guilty party, really. I mean look at sx 3s; Jim Morrison, Madonna, Gwen Stefani, Shady...they all kind of go too big and then crash, probably because of the lack of fulfillment. TI has been steady, filling his role but not exceeding or overreaching it, to a fault, even.

I had wondered if 50 might be an sp/so 3 but 9w8 does work better.

yeah I think you're right about TI... so/sx would make no sense, he might he even be 3w2, considering the obvious jadedness that accompanies any dealer gone rapper. idk he's just believable.

Yeah I would consider w2...actually might make more sense if he was sp/so though, hes not quite dissolved enough for 3w2 so primary.

I can understand finding Dre's hyper-materialistic world-scale-actions, like taking advantage of his cultural status to overprice mediocre products, rather distasteful. I will say that he sets a good example culturally for blacks making it legit, although in this day and age "legit" is questionable...

I guess it makes sense that his mechanized elitism would annoy you. that's always a tipping point with people like him and em, where any self-referential action just rusts the sheen... at the end of the day, I can appreciate more homey, down-to-earth types for the reassurance they bring to something as overblown as the rap game, but ultimately it is about the icing lol.

yeah like when people are actually saying something constructive and relatable based on their personal experience and you try to invalidate it by making fun because it doesnt agree with your favourite interpretation of socionics.

    Eminem - Te ego.
Projection is ordinary. Person A projects at person B, hoping tovalidate something about person A by the response of person B. However, person B, not wanting to be an obejct of someone elses ego and guarding against existential terror constructs a personality which protects his ego and maintain a certain sense of a robust and real self that is different and separate from person A. Sadly, this robust and real self, cut off by defenses of character from the rest of the world, is quite vulnerable and fragile given that it is imaginary and propped up through external feed back. Person B is dimly aware of this and defends against it all the more, even desperately projecting his anxieties back onto person A, with the hope of shoring up his ego with salubrious validation. All of this happens without A or B acknowledging it, of course. Because to face up to it consciously is shocking, in that this is all anybody is doing or can do and it seems absurd when you realize how pathetic it is.
