In this video, Kidman comes across as Alpha... An Alpha introvert... We could compare her with Kate Bush, (IEI,) who seems much more easy-going and goofy. Contrasted w/ Bush, Kidman seems systematic, decisive, and somewhat cold.

I'm hesitant to say that Kidman's definitely INTj--I'd need to see some more videos--but that's where I'm leaning.

I wouldn't call her cold, but her smiles seem a bit contrived to me - they don't reach her eyes. Her giggles seem to stem from nervousness IMO, or they follow statements that she wants people to not take seriously - like she's making a conscious effort to keep the atmosphere light but isn't very adept at it.

Listening to everybod's comments on this is getting me confuseds. She is very hard to type though at least to me. Each time i tried in the past, i felt like i had to bump her over into another slot. Would be an interesting project if taken seriously.

Yeah, the first question is a TiNe question: what kind of a movie is it? What's it about? --And she gives a very clear, concise overview (in setting X, Y happens, which leads to Z).

i had been considering LII for her a long time ago. I havent really studied her since that time but i remember feeling entranced by little details of her likes and dislikes. I think i read that she loves sharks, for example.

No, that part is not necessarily "more Ti," but I do seem to have more of an internal sense of solidity, which I was trying to describe...of right/wrongness about information that I guess has the potential to make a point or to take a stand, which has created positions of leadership for me throughout my life.

I'm not sure I see any in esper. Her usage of language is more vague than an average IEI language usage. Impressions like "I have more Ti" signal less Ti to me. I'd say it is more likely than what she has more. Plus a rational temperament perhaps.

I don't get the same vibes from her as I get from the IEIs here. It is like IEIs concentrate more on building "positive image" on individual level and esper instead aims to perfect her image in the eyes of the whole forum (perhaps dismissing the build up of individual relations in the process). There is also more attempts at social dominance () involved. Sometimes it seems like she is trying to convince herself as much if not more than others. Like saying "I am IEI but I am better than the other IEIs kind of IEI".

it's possible, but it may be connected with the supervision as well, since I think it is not rare that the supervisee feels sexual/romantic attraction towards the supervisor (there are also some other threads about that here).
maybe if the supervisor is a possible sexual partner (depending on sexual orientation), the supervision relationship focuses more on the element of admiration and attraction, whereas if the supervisor is not the potiential partner (e.g. same sex for heterosexuals) the supervision relation feels much more repulsive for the supervisee? I mean, a person may think that the insecurity and admiration towards the supervisor comes from romantic feelings towards him/her. When it's not a potential partner maybe the negative side becomes more important?

In this interview Ellen kinda hasn't the edge she usually has. But apart from LII, I could think EII for Kidman too. I like her and I have never seen her as cold, not even sure if a thinker. And it was told in some Russian article that EII is as close to alpha NT as you can possibly get.

I have to admit I know a LII who looks kind of similar.. and Nicole does seem kind of aloof and cold in some photos. People even say she has the air of a "mean woman" or a bitch, which might suggest LII rather than INFj.

BUT... are you sure?? Because she seems too mushy and emotional in many of her films! Can an INTj ever display so many emotions like she does?
