    Default rethinking my type

I haven't posted a type thread about myself before, so humour me if nothing else. (c:

My present musings on the topic are hereto contained.

    So, what do you think?

Quadra values help with these decisions. When I checked out the plus and minus values of each quadra, it gave me a much better understanding about my general preferences. http://www.the16types.info/groups.php?groupsid=1

When I read about Fi minus I realized I dislike it very much, but Fi plus was much more favorable. Se plus sounded good to me but Se minus seemed awful. So these things can help you reach a conclusion about your specific quadra.

Temperament also helps. Are you impulsively active like Ep or more calculated and reasonable/cautious like IJ? and so on.

Yeah, your type doesn't necessarily determine any ability in anything.

I don't agree with some of it. I would say only the "forced out of the room" thing is something I would do. If I had something stolen, I'd be so angry and furious for a LONG time.

What I will say on Jem, Dolphin, and I is our writing styles.

Jem: I see her writing as more "rational", more grounded, a light-hearted yet serious portrayal. Is not as emotionally effusive.

Dolphin: She uses her cynicism to prove a point, her writing is very skillful in this sense. In terms of emotion, I see Dolphin and I as similar.

Kam: I say anything and everything in terms of emotion. heh. I think I am pretty grounded irl, but I just love to attempt to be witty. My writing, I'll let you be the judge of that.

I absolutely relate to that. I wouldn't really care about being forced out of a room, job, etc, but I may put up a fight if I felt that I was being unfairly treated - that the person had no right to do so. But actually, I wouldn't really care, and would only act like that on principle's sake.

I don't care about my material possessions hardly at all. For example, I've been back in Melbourne for about six months now, and I still haven't got around to collecting all my stuff from friends' places where I left them when I was down here last. I've just been living out of one suitcase. But it doesn't bother me a bit if I never see my stuff again. Lol. I attach no value to it whatsoever. It's boring to keep the same things anyway. (o:

You don't relate at all to being hyperaware physically when you're nervous?

Yeah. I recently went to pick up some of my stuff, and looking through all my clothes and things, found I only wanted some CDs and my drawing things. Lol
I do however have a tendency to keep objects that have some kind of sentimental value locked together in a single hidden box... I don't know why I do this, but it's a feeling that these objects must have some kind of meaning since they were given to me by friends or family, but at the same time not really understanding what this connotation means in order to give the objects more precedence... maybe I'm trying to hide them from my sight, idk, could be the Fi polr.
I literally have a box with a lock on it with all that sort of stuff in it - letters and trinkets and stuff. I hardly ever look at them, but like knowing I have them.
To conclude, GO TO THE DELTA FORUM! They're waiting for you!!!
This is kinda sad. :-( And I thought you were my perfect dual ...

I am very physically "there", moving, twitching, that is what my mom said when she saw me at my National Honor Society thing.

But I never once thought of how I would trip, I made sure I wouldn't beforehand, but I wasn't too worried about it.

But yes I do move a lot when I am nervous.

    Quotes from the Fe description:
extraverted ethics types pay close attention to the way people say things, the way they talk, their facial expressions, their choice of words, their gestures, and all other external manifestations of one's internal emotional state.
I tend to get an idea of how people are feeling from my overall impression of them. I'd be hard-pressed to determine what specific gestures, expressions, etc mean. I don't like zooming in on details because they can distort my overall feel of what the person is about.
Four types — ESE and EIE, and also SEI and IEI — have extraverted ethics in their ego block and can be said to be highly aware of (have control over) their external self-expression. They are able to consciously stick out in the way they say things or express their internal state and feel confident drawing attention to their extraverted ethics, whether or not it matches the sentiments of the group at the moment. They are comfortable being more animated than others in a situation or displaying emotions that don't fit in with those of other people. They use their own expressiveness to guide other people's internal experiences and help them experience a wider range of passions and more intense feelings. The types that respond to this best have emotive ethics in their Super-id block (ILE, LII, LSI, and SLE).
Yeah, not at all. I always attributed such behaviour to shyness, but I hate standing out for those reasons. I'm not comfortable with drawing attention to my emotional expression, and feel embarrassed/uncomfortable if someone tries to get me to join them in over-the-top expressiveness like yelling or cheering or something (unless I'm parodying such behaviour).
