Ganin's Turbo test is probably the most accurate of all socionic tests available, so what is your point?

Ganin's test is rather simplistic and very innacurate compared to the newest test that Rick posted a few days ago.

I don't think any available socionics test is particularly good.

To be fair, I think that some of Hugo's attempts were in the right direction.

For that matter, I don't think this is just a socionics issue. I don't think I've ever seen a good enneagram test, either.

I think this is extremely important to note, as I have never come across a good socionics test. I think there is one good enneagram test, and it can be found at enneagramcentral.com. Other than that, they suck. Keep this in mind, anyone who is trying to find your type. You're better off asking someone versed in enneagram literature, i.e. me lol (pm me if you need help )

Unfortunately, I think it's still easyTIM for now.

    http://sourceforge.net/projects/easytim/

Tests are useless though. I'm able to type someone pretty fast without such tests.

I'm sorry, but I have to disagree about the Enneagram test that you listed. I just took it, and it has a bug. On the first page of the test, my highest score was for what would have been the withdrawn triad. On the second page, I got questions for types 3, 7, and 8. I tried to change things around, giving the lowest score to the withdrawn triad, but it did it again. Therefore, I don't think that it's a good test.

One person having unsatisfactory results does not make something bad.

That being said, I looked it over again, and saw that its quality isn't to the level which I first thought, as about 1/3 of the questions are superficial bs.

Congratulations for advocating your own test as the best one.

I agree with the sentiment that most online tests are pretty inaccurate. They can give you a direction to begin looking, which is useful for those who are just starting to learn about socionics. Ultimately, though, the best way to type yourself is going to be by coming to understand the different elements of the system and learning to objectively apply them to yourself.

You need to have a good understanding of yourself and your way of processing and then how that fits into the realm of socionics.

I find it hysterical that Hugo actually writes the best Socionics tests.

It's not just that I'm not satisfied with the results. If the basic programming of the test is screwed up, that means that there is something seriously wrong.

Tests don't work all that well in general.

I don't think anyone I've tested has turned out as what the test said. Too many personal ideals and social norms going on in their heads as they take the test.

The best they can do imo is narrow down the field by 50-75%, but I can do that for them anyway.
