So, I'm kinda toying with the idea of a certain ENT_ at the moment, and it has got me wondering if this person is ENTp or ENTj. I'm not sure what I think yet, about him or his type. I dunno?

And then I'm thinking.....well maybe I'm unsure if he's gamma or alpha because I am unsure if I'm alpha or gamma?

Loving someone gamma sure feels good, like rejection.

But imo, ENTj and ENTp are quite different. It's the way they smile, let me try to explain it. The ENTp appears to seriously enjoy what someone has just said, and i don't know how to explain it too much, but the smile seems very very genuine to me(not to say that ENTj smiles are any less genuine, that's just how I feel.)

The ENTj smiles like they also like what someone said, but it seems they don't like to lose control of themseleves, and try not to laugh very loud or very hard. They also kinda shake their head while they laugh also.

The ENTj is more rigid, more controlled in their actions, while the ENTp is more go with the flow. I know this sounds like a obvious rational/irrational divide, but these are two confirmed types that I am drawing off of.

You can still be madly in love with both types haha. Big problem.

I agree that they're hard to mix up. I feel a need to be serious around ENTjs - like they disapprove of too much merriment ... or not so much merriment as saying stupid things without thinking. ENTps seem to forgive this, whereas I feel the ENTj's disapproval. Basically, I feel like I have to watch my mouth around them.

But yeah, doesn't mean they're not attractive though.

Often it's not like I disapprove it - I just don't know what to say because I'm not naturally good in that environment, so I may appear too serious simply because of that.

Anyway good luck with your search, the two types can look similar from the outside, even in appearance sometimes. ENTjs often are a bit more solitary than ENTps though, generally the latter has a larger circle of friends.

This is the truth, the ENTj I know has exactly 5 friends she talks to, and they're all foreign exchange students. Never changes, and she just gets new ones when they leave. I wish that Korean girl would come back. ):
