Default Operation This Might Be A Big Deal But I Need To Confer With Everyone Else

Warm greetings and salutations residents and denizens of the Alpha Quadra!

This is your friendly neighbor (or neighbour -- because I want to reach out to everybody!) Delta. I am pleased to announce that we have taken it upon ourselves to be the mediation between yourselves and the Gamma Quadra. While our friends to the direct, abstract north of us might seem to some (please note the emphasis on some, and also not meant to be any sort of characterization [characterisation] or statement as to how we view the Gammas) a bit rigid, miserly, impatient or otherwise, we feel that we can be an effective bridge of communication between them and you. After all, we feel that we are attuned to their Te/Fi and can effectively translate and break down their information into an Alpha-Ready® language for your Ne/Si consumption by effective use of illustration, metaphor and simile.

I would consider it a fair trade if for our Alpha-Ready® explanations you would continue to distract *ahem* entertain the Beta Quadra with your effective, witty Fe, for it tends to wear us down emotionally with prolonged exposure to it. Now, this is not to say that Beta are unnecessary or somehow don't have value -- quite the contrary -- or that we are ineffective at entertaining our colleagues from the Beta Quadra. We feel that Beta holds value as well, but we think it is more effectively handled by the Alpha Quadra. We might briefly take a peek out of curiosity to see the fun to be had, but I think we'd much rather straddle the sidelines or find something more ... light-hearted and relaxing.

We feel that the value in the Gamma Quadra lies not only in their efficiency in matters of business, but also we enjoy their company and their ability to carry robust conversation with us.

While we would be more than happy to work hard for your cause, we kindly request for inclusion of the Gammas, if we can somehow be the mediation for you in the same way you would be the mediation to our colleagues, the Betas (Betans). Even though I am repeating myself again, I believe that it is necessary to do so to reiterate the point.

We feel that your value will be to help us loosen up whenever we become too serious, in that lighthearted flavor of Fe and Si that you seem to provide for the people.

If these requests are too harsh, I will confer more with the Deltas to reach a fair and reasonable compromise. But we would like your input as to how these requests sound to you. I think as long as our progress is consistent and steady towards a reasonable goal and that the process of the work is reasonable, we will go to great lengths to meet that end.

I would like to extend a warm thank you for your cordial letter, and I look forward to many more pleasant and warm conversations and projects (of the not-so-serious variety).

Until next time, peace be with you.

    Sincerely,
    Delta

NO. No Gamma. They are not allowed. That is our one very clear stipulation. NO GAMMAS. We will give up our betas if you give up your gammas. This is my idea, either follow it or gtfo.

Now now, Mn0good, let’s not be too hasty. You may be our self-appointed leader, but last time I checked we had a democratic thing going on. I, for one, think Tereg’s proposition sounds very nearly reasonable. Of course, I have to admit that his recognition of the existence of alternate spellings of such words as ‘neighbour’ and ‘characterisation’ has biased me somewhat in his favour, but that is beside the point.

I think Tereg made an astute observation in pointing out that the Gammas are efficient in matters of business. Think about it. Do we really want to have to deal with that sort of thing ourselves? Plus, if the non-extermination of the Gammas would make our friends, the Deltas, happy - I think it would be wise for us to at least give the matter some thoughtful consideration. Happy workers make productive workers after all.

I can razzle-dazzle the Gamma NTs with Ne for a while, but it doesn't last long.

Also, how many real Gammas are there on this board? (Oh, crap. This is going to piss some people off.)

Funny. It's just occurred to me that you would make a very apt leader of Alpha. Weird. The thought just popped into my head out of the blue.

Eh, no. We as ISFps are insightful enough to recognise that those with illusions of grandeur are most genial when their egos are catered to. A 'leader' of Alpha would of course be only a figurehead, and would serve only decorational purposes. How could Alpha be anything else but a democracy?

I'm willing too keep the ENTjs. I like ENTjs, they're fun to debate. They can conduct business, I'm ok with that.

I'm self-appointed leader because I'm channeling some 8-wing magic unlike the rest of this ramshackle bunch. I'm doing what has to be done, friends. Haven't you noticed that we Alphas are the only group with people predominantly inclined to just let things happen? I'm just being premptive here.

I still do not see what the original point of this thread is exactly. Why would we need Delta to do anything for Alpha? Are Alphas incapable of handling this themselves? And is there even a conflict that needs mitigation? Honestly, I think this is just a feeble attempt by Delta Quadra (or rather tereg) to make a grab for more power.

If you care to read 'Killing the other quadras' (Beta quadra) and 'Operation A Big Deal' (Delta quadra) this thread may start to make sense.

But I can't guarantee that it will.

And is there even a conflict that needs mitigation? Honestly, I think this is just a feeble attempt by Delta Quadra (or rather tereg) to make a grab for more power.
No! I cannot seek to attain such a place of power, I am merely responding to a cordial notification -- Operation A Big Deal, which can be found here: http://www.the16types.info/vbulletin...ad.php?t=19401

My response was for the purpose of reaching out to the Alphas and extending cordial words to seek to find compromise to the stipulations outlined in Operation A Big Deal.

It is still a work in progress, but I am confident that harmony can be achieved!

::face plant desk:: I'll be in my office. Call me when everyone's braincells are able to actually come on time to the meeting.

My braincells are in perfect working order, thank-you very much. I'm sorry you can't relax long enough to enjoy some playful banter. Perhaps you should go talk to the gammas, I'm sure they would share your sentiments perfectly.
