Blunt question: How do I attract an Fe-INFp/Fe-IEI

yes and no. For example, let's take sex, I would love a woman that will instruct me how to please her and never mind me. I would do whatever she wants not because she wants it but because I know she likes it. She would be in a dominating position, dictating most of the stuff but it is not quite domination through intimidation, or any other demeaning kind of ordering.

Same with chores. Not because I'm a "yes, dear" spineless worm but because I know she would really appreciate it.

If you want to attract an IEI, show interest. Get them to like you. Then try to avoid them.

Ugh, some of them can be really persistent. But it seems like a game, they just want you to think about them just to get you to do it, so when you're avoiding them it's "the game", and they have to get you to chase them again.

Yeah obviously it isn't "pleasant", how it was worded there. And that wasn't me being "anti-infp", either. I was more or less commenting on something I wonder if INFps regularly do: become attracted to people who are "beyond you" or people who don't really want to be with you. ?* It kind of reminds me of like an Se dual seeking thing, where INFps are attracted to "strong people". Maybe its something like wanting to be with someone strong even if you don't feel like you can REALLY be with them?

And no, I was not saying INFps love people who treat them like shit. It's more than that.

Maybe it's just my own interpretation from things, or perhaps I just don't understand INFps in general.



* - this stems mostly from an experience with a (potentially unhealthy) INFp girl I know. So maybe it is more an issue that she has, and it is separate from type.

PS: Well, if what I said makes INFps uncomfortable, then of course don't do that if you want to be with them. Process of elimination!

and does this apply both equally to Fe and Ni subtypes of INFp? It just seemed to me that Ni are more responsive than Fe subtype and I was wondering more about Fe INFp. I know that I can never be ESTp, just wondering more about an explanation about why my charms seem to be more successful, at least immediately, with some subtypes.

This would imply that I would only be attracted to homosexuals, and people who are already in relationships... (and sorry but that is simply not the case for me). I also do not understand what this would have to do with Se dual seeking.

Besides, I think I have a pretty good sense of foreseeing events, and having a general idea of how things are going to fall into place, so I'm generally very careful about that stuff. Why should I waste my time?

yeah, I don't know... I personally go off of what I "know" ... I just know... it's automatic. Even among all the things I don't "just know" there are quite a few things I do just know, and I follow those things.

so for instance, I'm single right now and I currently want to be single... I don't feel I need anyone else. But this will change... when I've learned what I need to learn by being as I am now... when it does change I'll be interested in people again (in that way) and it will still go according to what I "just know."

I don't always think in terms of people's expectations (I may not even know their expectations)... Sometimes I can be blind to what others expect of me. Sometimes things may come up revealing they expected something from me that I didn't know about... and it will hit me "oh that's why they did x, y, z at these times in the past..."

Protect us from things we don't like but our ego might not make us express that as strongly as we need to.

Be serious and epic sometimes, and forceful in your views... a political activist of sorts. But also know when people are just kidding around/being silly for effect.

Be romantic and 'all out there' with our ideals as much as we are, but express these in physical ways where we cannot.

Dominate us lightly during sex, but don't ever do something the other person isn't comfortable doing of course. Shake us up a little. Care about being 'right' more than you are being 'nice.' Being nice is our job, being right is yours. But be right in a way that still makes us think you are nice. It's duality in action. 50% same as us, 50% different.
