Amy Adams
Ok, so I'm a bit of a fan of her acting... and I was wondering what type she was. I thought that she was ESFp... and I still think that she is ESFp. Except that, she's kind of... modest, and seems a little nervy at times. I know, that's not exactly "stereotypically ESFp", but that's not necessarily related to being any types per se imo.

I think Amy Adams could be an IEE. Some of her mannerisms remind me of two people I know very well; my mother and my best friend. Her enthusiasm makes me think she's adept in Fe, but I don't think she values it.
I didn't even realize that there was a thread on Junebug... I should search for it I guess. By the way, I thought that movie was alright...
Anyway, yeah, she could be an IEE/ENFp... but I don't really see it. I don't really see the "NF"ness in her, you know? To me she seems more social, easy-going... like an SF. What do you think.
yes, i originally thought she was an SEE, she reminded me of Isla Fisher who I thought was SEE or ESI, but Adams looks a different type than Isla. So I am not sure. Perhaps Adams is SEE and Isla is ESI or maybe they are both SEE and different subtypes.. i like Adams more than ISla.

Why Se over Ne? I think she exudes more of a Ne-related energy, and her films give off the same impression. I think you're confusing Se with youthfulness.
I would go for ESFp/ENFj. Even Craig Ferguson seems more Ne(/ENFp) than her.

theres some drama to her poses which I think contrasts a bit with the more relaxed looks of the ENFps in that other thread

ezra, i dont think she's youthful. I didn't type her by Se>Ne. I think she gives off a cold-ish vibe that i associate with gamma
but watching her again she does strike me as more Se with the sharp way she talks i see with ISTjs ISFjs.

I don't think she has the serious, restrained demeanour of a Se creative. You seen a Linda Fiorentino interview? Compare it with the Adams one. You'll notice a clear difference. Adams doesn't make sly little digs or playful jabs at the interviewer. Fiorentino prides herself on it. Perhaps it's a Se ego/Ne ego distinction.but watching her again she does strike me as more Se with the sharp way she talks i see with ISTjs ISFjs.
