Um... I'm supposedly Beta until I like change my mind and decide Epsilon is better, and I like totally find that Imfd95 (had to reverse the "m" and the "f" to be consistent with most of the Wiki) is like totally into doing like bizarre things like, uh, economics, and like deleting his posts sometimes. But I like started having bouts of deleting my posts as well, strangely, so it's like not so strange after all. Like. Anyway, I've always thought Imfd95 is a mostly nice, accommodating, sort of person (though not like in a bad way). Though he does have this like dry quality to him at times, but you know, no one is perfect. What goes softly unexpressed, remaining subtle, but there nevertheless, is his quirky side. I imagine in person it would like be much more apparent. He's a very logical sort, but he tries to be understanding and tries to be objective and unbiased about matters... or so I have noticed. So maybe I'll like say something else (god no you may think, but then I'll be like god yes)... I find that Imfd95's existence can easily blend in with the existence of things that are like around him in like this posting internet medium... but like sometimes like his sporadic quirky self shines through the blend sort of like illuminating who he might be... and on that like layer is like a sense of humor that you like see is always there, quietly following... And like I think Imfd95's existence is like significant... and like I like Imfd95... God are you like annoyed yet? Totally.

No wait ifmd95, you're off base now. We're all people in the end, nobody just repeats robotically decisions just to make money. Look at all the ENTjs that are actors, sport people, scientists, mathematicians...those professions do not operate in the way you describe, or they may operate in the way you describe only as long as you place the algorithmic logic you were talking about as an higher level framework.

If Te comes most naturally to you as base, and you aren’t being distracted by the urge to Ti while digesting and applying Te (Ti ignored), AND you’re really into the Se aspect of Te+Ni simultaneously (okay there’s more to gamma Se than $$$ -- you also have the gung-ho, can-do, challenger/positivist aspect to it, especially evident in ESFp.) – then I could imagine my description of “roboticness” in ENTj coming across as caricature, if not offensive. But to the outside observer (or at least to this particular outside observer) for whom those conditions differ – that’s what the descriptions of Te+Ni seem like.

I’m also discussing what is done most of the time. Indeed, at least some of the time we all indulge in super-id and even unvalued functions.

So, what about the objections based on ENTj people that partake and have partaked in jobs that aren't related to "checking prices and choosing the best"?

I think you would be right if you referred to a more abstract framework of "choosing the best (most profitable) opportunity at the right time". This can be applied to:
- choosing the best math tool to use to model a phenomena
- choosing the best moment to start a sprint in a race
- choose the lyric which would make the song fastest/more harmonious/etc (note that I say this an I don't say "emotionally carrying" or anything")
etc.

and indeed in that case i would agree with you, but the robotic part is present only in Te, Ni being perhaps the most fluid function (not-well-defined + internal + abstract!)

Yes, I agree on the time commitment (which was meant to be implict in the first case - the best tool available at a given point in time, given that I didn't say "invent a new tool"), which I emphasized in the 2nd and 3rd point, which are indeed just examples.

I suspect very many gamma athletes and artists are more appropriately typed as sensors.
