-Fi with transcendended -Fe
If -Fi is fairness and -Fe is the mood of the external environment (the shared emotional charge or viewpoint), then -Fi resting on -Fe argues that the mood itself should be respected; in other words, a person should conduct themselves according to the mood around them. (-Fe resting on -Fi would argue differently, that the mood should obligate itself to the individual and be responsive to the ethic sense of all involved). -Fi/-Fe argues that a person should subordinate their personal ethic to the pursuit of the group's emotional comfort: a man may very well be entitled to revenge for the death of his wife, the loss of his eye/tooth etc.; but at what cost to the group? If it is that the group favors the transgressor, then an attack upon him may not be looked at so kindly by the group and may spoil the mood. (note that the reverse view, -Fe/-Fi, would argue that the group should put its feelings aside in respect to the trangressed right of fairness). -Fi/-Fe argues that one should take into account the "bigger picture" before insisting on justice.
I may have gotten these mixed up, so critique at leisure.

Umm good points I guess. You also inadvertently explained why circle jerks are really hot- and how one on one can be overrated because the person can abuse you and you can't get protection.
And actually, cutting off somebody's eye or tooth etc. isn't justice. It's callous revenge and I'd honestly rather be dead than mutated and fucked-up looking. Justice would be killing the man that killed his wife - the ultimate balance of the scales. That's why unlike most liberals, I am so FOR the death penalty. Compassion should only go to those who deserve it, damn it.
What cost to the group - what are you talking about. That the person 'won't like' him? That's kinda...overly juvenile to me. Listen, it doesn't matter anyway no matter what you're talking about. Love is a funny thing. No matter what happens you love certain people no matter how much they abuse you. They could do everything right and still be hated by some and do everything wrong and be loved dearly. I know I have a soft spot for social rejects myself....yet I value Fe more.
You are misrepesenting Fe big time, as what you write sounds like we're these horrible groupthink monsters that want to gang up on a poor little weak INFj and throat fuck the shit outta him. Fe isn't some kind of collective 'Borg' type you know....please try to word that a bit better.
