have u guys ever met sumone who was supposed to help u out but because they're dumbasses it's hard for u to gain any value from the relationship? this stems from a recent experience with a dumb SLI- i felt so awkward correcting her and when i did she just completely ignored me until sumone else told her what i just told her. so awkward.

I've met a semi-dual who I don't think could help me much. I think he's incredibly uninteresting, so maybe it's more I don't want the help he would offer.

"Dumb" is apparently a common trait in my dual. But I'm OK with that.

If you mean "bad," I would probably mistype a bad dual as whatever type I have the lowest opinion of at the moment.

I'm yet to find one who isn't. And no, they don't help much. In fact, I find it hard to name a person who truly helps me in the way I really need.

Dumb illusionary (LSI) yeah, policemen and an ex-boss. I felt only helpless and threatened. Avoid like the plague. Do I want a dumb LSI to kick my ass with his dumb because I won't satisfy his dumb dual-seeking as in "yes I will be a good citizen from now on, officer -- I so much regret the error of my ways. How would the world work without the police" ?

Dumb dual (ESI): they still compensate for my weakness in terms of Fi (I know how I stand with them) and Se (they make me snap out of Ni reflection and get moving).

Dumb semi-dual (EII): still compensate for my weakness in terms of Fi.

Dumb illusionary (LIE): I think these are the ones that try too hard and they give me no Fe, their Te is dumb and they keep it up soooooo long.

Dumb semidual (ESE): fun but their polr is increased, and whenever you are doing anything but chatting it becomes very annoying. Also can't bear to discuss with them as they never give up even when confronted with the clearest possible Ti.

Dumb dual (EIE): as fun as smart duals. Their dumbness doesn't annoy me almost at all.

The SEIs I know irl aren't dumb at all (quite sharp at times), but they may pretend to be dumber than they actually are when they are acting silly. They also tend to underestimate their own intelligence and are sensitive about it.

I don't think I've ever met any dumb SEEs before now. I've known a few who can be a bit slow, but it doesn't take long to see they're sharper in other ways. I suppose thinking about it actually, I haven't really known anyone who I'd classify as generally dumb.

You've never met anyone who's "dumb?" Where do you live--and how's the job market there?

I've met dumb duals, semi-duals, and illus. It sucks because you can see the potential for meaningful interaction, but usually nothing comes of it... In the case of a dumb dual, it's even been hurtful.

I live in south west England and I must confess I have no clue how the job market is. It took me a while to get my current job, but that's because so many of the jobs advertised wanted previous experience, which I didn't have given that I'd been working in retail for 2½ years and wanted to get out of there. Gah, never work in retail. Seriously.
