Oh yeah! Thunderstorms are beautiful - esp when you're tucked up in bed and all this flashing and crashing is going on around you

I love rain. I think perhaps for me its the satisfaction of one of our basic needs - shelter. I sleep like a baby the second it starts raining.

maybe, but I dont' see what it has to do with estrogen.

Hmm... I like to run, but I don't like to get wet. I run in sunlight and hide in rain.

I got caught in the rain one afternoon with my fiancee walking my dog. It came pouring down on us and we were soaking wet by the time we got home. It was a warm summer rain and it was hot that day so it actually felt pretty good.

The Barnum or Forer effect is the tendency for people to judge that general, universally valid statements about personality are actually specific descriptions of their own personalities. A "universally valid" statement is one that is true of everyone—or, more likely, nearly everyone. It is not known why people tend to make such misjudgments, but the effect has been experimentally reproduced.

The psychologist Paul Meehl named this fallacy "the P.T. Barnum effect" because Barnum built his circus and dime museum on the principle of having something for everyone. It is also called "the Forer effect" after its discoverer, the psychologist Bertram R. Forer, who modestly dubbed it "the fallacy of personal validation".
