    Default Aversion to Fe?

    I'm trying to determine what's happening in a situation. Is Fe the source of loud and/or demonstrative emotion?

    it can be... but that's not all it's about by far. Fe can also be the source of calm and subtle emotion.

    is just the dynamically changing internal states. I hate the generalize it in such a way since it does not necessarily convey the truth to its utmost, but if it helps, think of it like an emotional version of .

    perfect. I was going to say "continuous external emotional flow," but it is, like you said, an internal function.

    I just feel the is the way I express myself emotionally, when it comes to making friends, or acting "jumping of the walls" happy. It definitely reflects how you feel on the inside, but heh, you can fake Fe easily.

    Loud expressive emotion, curt, polite responses, all Fe.

    1) If it is easier for you to conceptualize how works, then it becomes easier to understand how works. Just as you can watch the changing external actions (or dynamics) of objects in your surroundings in , you can also watch the changing internal qualities of of external objects. Or in other words, for how is normally experienced or encountered, you can watch how people's emotional states change.

    Yes. One of the ways I was better able to understand Fi, was by understanding Ti's relationship with Te and then viewing it as analogous with Fi's relationship with Fe.

    Hm. I brought this up because hyper, energetic people turn me off. As do hyper, energetic actions(ie someone rushing/throwing themselves at me). I was wondering if this was an anti-Fe sentiment on my part.

    by continuous external emotional interaction, or field, I mean literally a flow of energy. Fe focuses on this dynamic energy, trying to maintain and improve it. When skilled with Fe, one knows exactly how to manipulate this energy to any ends.

    I agree, Alpha Fe really turns me off. Like they seem too wild for me, I'd like someone less like me and more grounded.

    My mother (who tests ENFP on Keirsey) can weird me out at times. Some of you have seen me on here...I'm the straight man where she's concerned. The one who gets embarrassed when she's singing in public (though I find myself doing the same, but to me, it's not as disturbing). And the one who backs away when she comes at me energetically.

    Alphas weird me out overall, lol.

    ISFp=too emotional
    ESFj=Alpha Fe problem as stated above
    ENTp=The Fi PoLR really bothers me.
    INTj=I like them, but they like to argue.

    So really, you take what you get. Not much more you can do.
