Default Gannondorf/Gannon from The Legend of Zelda series

    Arrrrgh! I lost her!

    You, over there!
    Little kid!

    Heh heh heh...

You want a piece of me?!
    Very funny!
    I like your attitude!

    Pathetic little fool!
Do you realize who you are
    dealing with?!

    I am Ganondorf!
And soon, I will rule the world!

You must have seen the white
    horse gallop past just now...
    Which way did it go?!
    Answer me!!
Hey kid, you did quite well...
It looks like you may be gaining
    some slight skill...
But you have defeated only my
    phantom...
When you fight the real me, it
    won't be so easy!
    What a worthless creation that
ghost was! I will banish it to
    the gap between dimensions!!
    Princess Zelda...you foolish
    traitor!
I commend you for avoiding my
    pursuit for seven long years.

If you want to rescue Zelda,
    come to my castle!
    The Triforce parts are resonating...
They are combining into one again...

The two Triforce parts that I
could not capture on that day
    seven years ago...
I didn't expect they would be
    hidden within you two!

And now, finally, all the Triforce
    parts have gathered here!

These toys are too much for you!

I command you to return them
    to me!
His HA is clearly Se, which means either ENTj or ENFj...

It'd be mighty interesting to see what the LIEs here think about your typing, Machintruc. I suspect that you're right (he "knew" Link would open the door, after all), but how do you figure his type changed between forms?

Well at least, let's inquire as to his motives.

He clearly wants power. All the power that there is to have. On the other hand, what's with his line "these toys are too much for you"? I really don't understand if he's being mocking there, or if he's showing genuine concern for the power the triforce posseses, or if he's criticizing their ignorance or weakness. He seems to say one thing, like "I like you're attitude", and then "pathetic little fool" a moment later. Is he admiring Link, or criticizing him?

Maybe because he's actually two persons inside the same body, like Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde.

Well then, let's type Link and Zelda. Obviously Link's a difficult type because he never says anything... but if we type Zelda as well as Gannondorf, we might well be capable of deducing their relations to him and thus, inferring his type that way.

Link's obviously an ISTp. His not saying anything is a further signal of as PoLR. Zelda then being the IJ-Fi, with no strong Se or Ne differentiation.

He's quiet because it's a tradition of RPG's. Psychologists say that "RPG's heroes are quiet in order to let the player integrate the role better"

It's like Pokemon's Ash Ketchum, a probable SLE. He's quiet on games for this reason, but on the anime he's as outgoing as an ADHD retard.

We know that Zelda believes a lot in her prophesies. Certainly she has capacity to appraise Gannondorf's character.

Zelda : ! Who?! Who are you? How did you get past the guards?

Oh? What's that? Is that...a fairy?! Then, are you... Are you
from the forest? Then...then...you wouldn't happen to have...
the Spiritual Stone of the Forest, would you?! That green and
shining stone... Do you have it?

    -----------------------------------------------------------
    -(Yes)
    <see below>

    -(No)
Zelda : Well, that's odd... I thought you might be the one from my dream...
You really don't have it? Tell me the truth... Do you have it?
    -----------------------------------------------------------

Zelda : Just as I thought!

I had a dream...In the dream, dark storm clouds were billowing over
the land of Hyrule... But suddenly, a ray of light shot out of the
forest, parted the clouds and lit up the ground... The light turned
into a figure holding a green and shining stone, followed by a
    fairy...

I know this is a prophecy that someone would come from the forest...
Yes, I thought you might be the one...

Oh, I'm sorry! I got carried away with my story and I didn't even
properly introduce myself! I am Zelda, Princess of Hyrule.

What is your name? ..... Link... Strange...it sounds somehow...
    familiar.

OK then, Link... I'm going to tell you the secret of the Sacred
Realm that has been passed down by the Royal Family of Hyrule.
Please keep this a secret from everyone...

    -----------------------------------------------------------
    -(OK)
    <see below>

    -(No)
    Zelda : C'mon...don't be a blabber-mouth! Please keep this a secret from
    everyone...
    -----------------------------------------------------------

Zelda : The legend goes like this...

The three goddesses hid the Triforce containing the power of the
gods somewhere in Hyrule. The power to grant the wish of the one who
holds the Triforce in his hands. If someone with a righteous heart
makes a wish, it will lead Hyrule to a golden age of prosperity...
If someone with an evil mind has his wish granted, the world will
be consumed by evil...That is what has been told... So, the ancient
Sages built the Temple of Time to protect the Triforce from evil
    ones.

That's right... The Temple of Time is the entrance through which
you can enter the Sacred Realm from our world. But the entrance is
sealed with a stone wall called the Door of Time. And, in order to
open the door, it is said that you need to collect three Spiritual
    Stones.

And another thing you need...is the treasure that the Royal Family
keeps along with this legend... The Ocarina of Time!

Did you understand well the story I just told you?

    -----------------------------------------------------------
    -(Yes)
    <see below>

    -(No)
Zelda : Oh, I'm sorry. I'm not very good at storytelling...

    * - She repeats herself from "That's right..."
    -----------------------------------------------------------

    Zelda : That's great!

I forgot to tell you... I was spying through this window just now...
The other element from my dream...the dark clouds... I believe they
symbolize...that man in there! Will you look through the window at
    him?

    -----------------------------------------------------------
    -(Yes)
    <no script>

    -(No)
Zelda : Please! If you don't hurry, he'll be gone!
    -----------------------------------------------------------

    * - Behind the window, the man from Link's dream kneels on the ground.

Zelda : Can you see the man with the evil eyes? That is Ganondorf, the
leader of the Gerudos. They hail from the desert far to the west.
Though he swears allegiance to my father, I am sure he is not
sincere. The dark clouds that covered Hyrule in my dream...
    They must symbolize that man!

    * - He looks toward the window. Link backs up.

Zelda : What happened? Did he see you? Don't worry. He doesn't have any idea
    what we're planning...yet!

........Yes. I told my father about my dream... However, he didn't
believe it was a prophecy... But...I can sense that man's evil
intentions! What Ganondorf is after must be nothing less than the
Triforce of the Sacred Realm. He must have come to Hyrule to obtain
it! And, he wants to conquer Hyrule...no, the entire world!

Link...now, we are the only ones who can protect Hyrule! Please!

    -----------------------------------------------------------
    -(OK)
    <see below>

    -(I don't believe you.)
Zelda : Please believe me... My prophecies have never been wrong! Please!
    -----------------------------------------------------------

    Zelda : Thank you!

I...I am afraid... I have a feeling that man is going to destroy
Hyrule. He has such terrifying power! But it's fortunate that you
    have come...

We must not let Ganondorf get the Triforce! I will protect the
Ocarina of Time with all my power! He shall not have it! You go find
the other two Spiritual Stones! Let's get the Triforce before
Ganondorf does, and then defeat him!

One more thing... Take this letter... I'm sure it will be helpful
    to you.

<game> : You received Zelda's Letter! Wow! This letter has Princess Zelda's
autograph! Set it to {C} and show it with {C}. On the Select Item
    Subscreen, you can set it to {C left}, {C Down} or {C Right},
and then use that {C} to show it to people.

Zelda : My attendant will guide you out of the castle. Don't be afraid to
    talk to her.
I get a strong impression of INFj, especially from her fear of Ganondorf's power.

I'd just like to say that it seems to me Zelda may have carved her own troubles... in particular, her distrust of Ganondorf signals to him that an alliance between him and her will not be possible as had been had between him and her father. Thus, Ganondorf had every reason to suspect Zelda was moving against him. We have no reason to blame Ganondorf for what he did: it goes without saying that Zelda would have turned the Triforce on him had she gotten to it first. Actually, in light of that logic the game's plot appears perfectly apparent: it was a contest between Ganondorf and Zelda in which both parties understood the Triforce would be the deciding factor. That Ganondorf was the villain was simply a matter of his taking the Triforce first. Had he not taken it, it would have been Zelda who would have become the tyrant.

That's actually a really interesting take on Ganondorf and Zelda.

In Wind Waker it becomes clear that Ganondorf's ambitions to take over the world are largely out of a desire to give his people, the Gerudo, a life of security and prosperity.

We don't know Zelda's motives at all. I suppose she's meant to stand in for the "wise ruler" archetype, much like what the King failed to be in Wind Waker (who I suspect is LSI and largely sees himself as a relic of a bygone age).
