Which do you hear most often?

I hear "you look younger" and "you seem older" a fair amount. I'm told I'm one of those people whose age is hard to guess because I look like I could be 15 or 30. Most people say I look like I'm anywhere from 15 to 19. (I guess that's good, right? ) I've also heard "you look young but you talk like you're old" a fair amount.

I've been told I seem younger than I am, which I can see... I've also been told I LOOK younger than I am, which I have more trouble seeing, although it might be.

I used to always be told that I looked younger than I was, but that has changed in recent years. I'm starting to go gray and I'm getting wrinkles. Oh well.

People almost ALWAYS assume I am younger than I am when I meet them initially and they had no other form of contact with me. People usually say I look in between the range of 14-16(I'm 18.)

However, if I've spoken to the person before over the internet or the telephone, or whatever other means of communication I used to speak to them, my age is almost always assumed to be in the early 20s. So, apparently, my behavior portrays a much older persona, while my baby face betrays my actual age a few years backwards.

When I was 15, people thought I was 18. When I was 18, people thought I was in my mid 20s. It seemed to be speeding up. I found that disturbing. In my 20s it slowed down though and eventually stopped.

The older I get, the scarier this becomes. When i'm 30, for example, people will probobly assume i'm 45. I don't know that it has much to do with my appearance as it does my mannerisms. I've stopped getting carded and this depresses me. Dunno if i've mysteriously aged about 10 years overnight or what. I get called ma'am all the time --this upsets me to no end.

I think introverts probobly give off the "old age" vibe.

Everyone assumes that I'm older than I really am, and they always have. In junior high, I was often mistaken for a high school student. In high school: For a teacher. In college: For a graduate student (and I never got asked for my ID when I bought alcoholic beverages).

I suppose it's because I tend to have a serious expression and a relatively low-pitched voice, and I have always been tall for my age (or for any age!). I guess they lend me an air of gravitas!

no, because i find it kind of cool at my age (26.) i just have random totally white hair growing around my crown. i did color over with it some henna for a while.

yeah white hair when you're young looks totally awesome. never tried henna, but only because i wouldnt' look good as a redhead.

I know a guy who went all grey at 25. Makes him look older. He don't colour. Depends on person sometimes looks cool imo
