    Default Quick question

What type might be likely to say, "It helps me when you ask 'Are you sure you're doing that right?' or 'Are you sure you want to do that?' I make less mistakes that way."

Additionally, if you like, what type might ask the suggested questions?

Doing what right? In which context?

Anyway it seems like in the super-id for the person saying it, in the ego for the one asking the questions.

The specific context was quilting and it was said to me (and, no, I know nothing about quilting - I just happened to be an innocent bystander). But I asked and generally speaking the appropriate context would be when doing anything irreversible. Another suggested caution was, "Remember what happened last time?" which I have noticed is well received by this same person in other circumstances not just relating to irreversibilities.

i think it depends what the context is, but I think all T types are more inclined to butt in on telling people how things should be done. Ti types might be more inclined to butt in on strangers, Te types more inclined to help out if the other person clearly needs help or is asking for help. I also feel that they are not inclined to say "are you sure you are" that sounds like pussyfooting and that's what Ti people might do. (we just think it's polite)

I am wondering if it has anything to do with Ni, either just generally weak or seeking it or indirectly seeking it...

"are you sure you are" is probably more related to the creative function - intuition rather than sensing.

I very frequently ask those types of questions.
