I just wanted to take a moment to say "hell yeah" to your view on Sakuraba. The games he wrote for weren't too bad either!

More video game music? With these I was just like "ah what the hell." Good tunes, and they're fully orchestral versions. Although Dragon Quest has always been orchestral.

You might be familiar with this movie. Well this is by far my favorite track, simply because of the dynamics, instrumentation, how everything is located accordingly. Other tracks have this melody, but this performance, although short, is very touching. It certainly takes a certain mindset to grasp what I'm talking about, as does everything.

Also, more Joe Hisaishi. This piece specifically picks up in a more playful and energetic theme at about 2:00, and has exciting counterpoint.

I think it is a rather good video.
It's easy enough to be pleasant
when life hums along like a song
    But the man worthwhile
is the man who can smile
    when everything goes dead wrong.

    socionics type is ILI-0 (INTp).
