Default The differences in enneagram 3w4s and 3w2s and the ENFj

When deteriorating both have the commonality to cut corners and be very deceptive, however there is quite a bit of difference between them.

3w2s will be more hostile outwardly and will be more prone to con others maliciously and be highly self-deceptive and deceive others. Very sociopathic.

3w4s are much more self-destructive and can be highly arrogant and grandiose (with true emotional detachment, stone cold).

The self-destruction comes in due to the fact that 3w4 in the unhealthy levels can go nutty...a bit crazy..lots of self-loathing and self-contempt and a load of melodramatic issues that pile up. In some cases utter rage.

It's also interesting how ENFJ have a similar deterioration as the 3w4s, both can be prone to go a little nutty when unhealthy.

The whole HAMLET description for ENFjs can also very much apply to 3w4s (except 3w4s are much more detached).

3w4s can also resemble 1s in the unhealthy with their perfectionistic streak.

I think ESEs are more likely to be 3w2s, IME (something very rare from me when it comes to correlations; I normally go entirely off theory), while 3w4s are more likely to be EIEs. This is because 3w2s are generally more aesthetically focused, while 3w4s are more internally focused. They care less about details like how they smell; how they are dressed etc., whereas 3w2s are masters of this.

EIEs do care how we smell and our grooming.

However 3s believe it or not can sometimes (in private) can appear to be careless in grooming.

When I am in 9 mode I don't care about grooming in private (and with intimates) and seldom care about it.

I care more about my image as an intellectual and not so much on how awesome my expensive watch cost.

3w4s (if intellectual) can resemble some 5w6s and can be slightly introverted.

hey Angel Alliterator. you kinda sound like me, but way more gloomy ("self-destructive and can be highly arrogant and grandiose"). 3w4 isn't that bad. As an ENFj, do you agree with what I wrote about ENFjs in wikisocion (http://wikisocion.org/en/index.php?title=EIE_domain ). I've invited other ENFj to write there, but not much luck so far.

BTW, I found a description which I'm guessing describes socionics ENFj E-3w4:
I had a close friendship with a self typed E-3w4, ENFP. She was
    > desribed by acqaintances as the "pink tornado" because of her high
    > energy level and penchant for wearing pink outfits. Her speech was
    > punctuated by superlatives; she knew more positive adjectives than I
    > knew existed. Image was important to her: right clothes, right style,
    > right presentation, right connections. She was self employed, achievement
    > oriented, focused, enthusiastic, personable, hard-working, independant.
    > She worked as a motivational speaker and had a warm personal style that
    > women admired and men sometimes misconstrued. I once commented to her
    > about propaganda and seduction; she laughed and said, "It's all about
    > propaganda and seduction." At some level she had an inner sadness and
    > lonlieness; she felt like she was compensating for childhood wounds.
    > Outwardly confidant; innerly concerned about being fraudulent or lacking.
    > On rare occasions, she could lapse into a melancholy or hystrionic mood.
    > Motion seemed to help fill the void. She said that she felt authentic and
    > accepted when we were together. I genuinely liked her and enjoyed her
    > company. If you want to read a female 3w4 Enneagram author, try Kathleen
    > Hurley (Hurley and Dobson/Doneson.)

    E3 (probably 3w4)

I had read the EIE description in the Wiki-Socion and could relate to it quite a bit, I related to the description in Wikipedia more, but nonetheless.

I can relate to the EIE description in Wikipedia then the one in the Wiki-Socion, and I could relate to both EIE descriptions over the ENFJ wikipedia description.

The Wikipedia description of the EIE is practically a carbon copy of the EIE description on Wikisocion.

Sorry, I meant the EIE 'further details' entry on Wikipedia (the one the other ENFjs wrote about) compare to the other EIE description.
