I don't think IEI need to do very much to attract ESTp.
Just being around one should be sufficient.

Looking at my life I realize that my "attracting" problem is one of exposure. I don't get much exposure. Sitting on my big butt all day long in front of the computer I have little chance of meeting an actual SLE. I do meet them on the net and in this domain... I think "doing something for them" actually works. Like searching the web and providing info... or showing them how to resize images for faster transfer using Irfanview.

There's something really cute about this.

The patient IEIs await the Se burst from one of the rare SLEs in the forum. They are very patient, able to wait long periods of time, calmly, for a reflection of them from the "one with the Se."

i'll say some stuff. what attracts me is somebody who is quiet and soulful. somebody who gives off a calm and slightly goofy mood. somebody who is positive, sees the positive in other people; somebody who doesn't get offended by black humor and irreverent jokes. somebody who digs deep and talks about what comes from the depths but then can turn it into something smooth and clear that unites everybody. somebody who can delicately and effortlessly handle people and the direction of the relationship. somebody who responds to giddyap. a person who can talk about and speculate on all kinds of interesting theories and ideas but then can let it go and have fun. and most of all somebody who appreciates the qualities that i have, even the dark side of them, and helps me be better.

in short, somebody like an IEI. just be yourself man. if you build it she will come.

She's absolutely right about the eye contact. Works for making friends in general. I used to be so shy I would never make eye contact with anyone. Now that I'm older, I find that it's super super easy to make friends just by LOOKING at people and saying hello. Who would have thought???? If you're really interested in someone, watch them. Not in a creepy way. You can look away now and then. But they will notice, trust me.

I don't think everyone does it. Or, better said... not everyone does it the same.

Eye lock is one of the more interesting things from this life I have. I imagine that other people do it in a very short form or maybe with an inquisitive directiveness.
For me is either a glance or, if it is someone I like, something with deepness.
For example, I remember certain looks where my entire being screamed "break contact" but the eyes refused to do it, hypnotized by the beauty. In these moments I feel somehow decoupled from reality. Like everything else disappears, even "Me", and all that remains is a holy communion of souls.
