Posts I wrote in the past contain less nuance.
If you're in this forum to learn something, be careful. Lots of misplaced toxicity.

~a certain mysterious power that may prove terribly fascinating to the extraverted man, for it touches his unconscious.
probably ESTj, but possible ENTj.
I-m pretty certain he s ESTj.

this wasn't an MBTT typing. I was proposing the Te base idea; I haven't looked into him enough to know his creative or polr.Originally Posted by Ezra

He was just younger. I'm still very young, but I cant' and probably don't want to speed the same way as when I was 18 (also because I recognize that doing that would just destroy me on the longer term). And this is pretty common in cycling as you gain experience you know better which pace you can stand for hours; instead when younger you tend to know your body less and thus push without forethought. Imho.

I once watched a couple short videos of him and thought LSI seemed most likely. Before that I had thought LSE.
It is easier for the eye of a camel to pass through a rich man than for a needle to enter the kingdom of heaven.
*Bump*
I'm more curious about his type considering the major controversy he just caused:

Imo, I'm typing him 3w2 so/sp for enneatype and instinctual stacking, but not sure on his socionics type. The typings in this thread seem plausible though.

So, Sheryl Crow LSE
Lance SLI makes the most sense.

I'm constantly looking to align the real with the ideal.I've been more oriented toward being overly idealistic by expecting the real to match the ideal. My thinking side is dominent. The result is that sometimes I can be overly impersonal or self-centered in my approach, not being understanding of others in the process and simply thinking "you should do this" or "everyone should follor this rule"..."regardless of how they feel or where they're coming from"which just isn't a good attitude to have. It is a way, though, to give oneself an artificial sense of self-justification. LSE

LSE!
ILE "Searcher"
Socionics: ENTp
DCNH: Dominant --> perhaps Normalizing
Enneagram: 7w6 "Enthusiast"
MBTI: ENTJ "Field Marshall" or ENTP "Inventor"
Astrological sign: Aquarius
To learn, read. To know, write. To master, teach.
ESTj looks right...
MBTI people typed him as INTJ, which is ridiculous
He's introverted.

i've typed Lance Armstrong LSI, but that's open to editing.

I'm 100% sure he is my conflicter LSI. I absolutely hate him. Not because of the doping. His whole personality. Values and demeanor.
I'm being categorical about this one. Whatever type he is, I'm sure I'm the opposite.

He's not a likable person and has not been for as long as I can recall, including when I lived in Austin, where he was venerated. He has always seemed like a dickweed to me, although I respected his achievements in the past. I guess my point is that getting the heebie-jeebies from him is probably NTR.
As for his type, xxTj seems pretty clear, I know that the socionix gallery has him down as an ISTj, Ti sub; if he's LSI I could see him only as a rational sub, but frankly in watching a talking-head video of him I don't see some of the characteristics I expect from the type. For those who type him LSI, I'm interested in knowing why, beyond just not liking him. In particular, I have never noted anything about him that seems Ni-valuing.
LSI: “I still can’t figure out Pinterest.”
Me: “It’s just, like, idea boards.”
LSI: “I don’t have ideas.”
If he weren't Ni valuing he'd have no way of knowing how quickly to pedal his bike along to cross the finish line first.
He has an introverts facial and body relativity and architecture:
And, no, Im not aying all introverts have the necrotic arch, lol, but back shots are rare:
This dude has more body morphing than I once thought:
He is kind of odd to type because he is consistantly engaging his face or body to the camera itself. He fairly much locks in place towards the camera or who he is looking at, which is typically at introverted behavior, except he does it narcissistically
ah, his arm veins scare me. I always thought LSE for him as well.
One of the good guys in all the cycling dope nonsense is Greg LeMond. What's his type?

I know a lot of people who were die hard fans of his for years, and sported the stupid plastic Livestrong bracelets like it's some "cool" cult, had his fan page "liked" on FB, etc. He did have a big following, for God knows what reason... I guess those who looked up to his athleticism (before they found out it was all a sham).
Enneagram: 9w1 6w5 2w3 so/sx
Yeah he seems intensely IJ, logical, and too broad/assertive in the senses unlike how an Si/Ne would be. He reeks introversion LSE wtf.
For VIing the calculative Ti subtype just think tuturututu/trevor:
All I know is, he looks like a douche bag, and a liar. Looks like someone who'd win at any cost. And this is something I thought before all the doping allegations.
This picture has the eyes of a sore loser:
So whatever personality is a terrible sport, some kind of INTx, that's what he is. Might be the Se polr I'm picking up? He has difficulty controlling the volume of his Se?
If this were myers briggs I'd say INTJ, because I smell INTJ athletes from a mile away. They talk a lot of shit, and I keep my mouth shut until I win then I rub it in their face 20x as hard as payback until they cry, buncha fucking twats. I'm getting angry just thinking about them. /end rant

I like what Raver posted with Carlin, I don't really care about Lance Armstrong -- he is an athlete but imo all the celebrity worship and making him some kind of hero is BS, likewise all the "he has fallen from the top" is equally BS imo... really the entire thing is just what it is. He is an athlete, he trains to push his body to it's limits physically and he competes in competitions, he had cancer, survived it, and now potentially information is coming out about him using steroids or doping. It just is what it is... who really cares, I agree with Carlin fuck people trying to tell you who should be your hero and who shouldn't. It's the same kind of thing with Obama when they elected him he was supposed to be the "one" and now everyone is busting his balls over the fact he can't live up to the Jesus ideal... and its all created by this instability that the media wants to turn people into Angels or Demons.
Interesting I've never been big on the whole issue of Lance, I've mainly just ignored the hype. I'm wondering what stuff in specific gives you the heebie-jeebies about him?
Like is it the fact he's introverted and not engaging/personal enough, or is it a kind of hyper-competitive thing, or is it something else? I'm just curious because I've never really followed the hype and it seems like you have a more long term dislike of him.
never thought one way or the other about him.
you know it's funny how much famous people want to be famous and narcissistic, and want a lot of people to admire them and look up to them, but you can't really choose who your fans are that's the problem. For example my sister didn't even know who Aimee Mann or Fefe Dobson is. (two famous women that I'm a fan boy of, I don't really care if ppl make fun of me for it. =p) They're both very wealthy women with a lot of attention but not *everybody* is going to know who you are. I doubt everybody even knows who Oprah is... as much as that bothers her.
people are just people and the narcissistic/empathy divide and the celebrity/'common man' is becoming blurred... I think that's why reality tv became so popular and it's one of my guilty pleasures. It's like people will do things to be powerful and 'above' other people but realistically you are always somebody else's bitch, somewhere.
tagged @HaveLucidDreamz just cuz i like when he reads my posts and we both understand hollywood jerry seindfeldness so well. =p
