Default Duality and introverts feeling inferior

Supposedly most dual relationships start with the introvert getting the feeling that the other person is too good for them, right?

What if it feels like everyone's too good for you?

Do you mean relationship-wise, or just with duals of the same sex?

    Well, I do have something...

"No one can make you feel inferior without your consent." - Eleanor Roosevelt

I think Rick mentioned something on his blog about people who have a dual in their immediate family being "attuned" to their duals better - I've been lucky in that I grew up with an ESTp for a sibling so I don't usually have dual-specific feelings of "not good enough." I do have more generalized feelings of being unlovable or whatnot, though. Whenever I feel like everyone's too good for me, I spend some time with myself, doing things I enjoy and am talented at. Everyone has these sorts of things. The aim really is to find the richness already present in your own life, because most feelings of inferiority are rooted in a narrowed perception of what is valuable - we tend to forget or just come to ignore what it is that makes us individually intriguing, interesting, and valuable people. The funny thing is that our dual is pretty good at seeing these things for us... but it's almost impossible for them to do so if we don't have a grounding and confidence in our own path in life.

And THAT, friends, was my Mr. Rogers moment for the day.

Very nice. And, as you also pointed out, it helps if you have duals around you.

i'd say the introvert appears too closed off to understand initially.

Granted for some folks duals of the same sex is also a potential relationship.
