Vi + short description, limited time

i've known him peripherally for a few years .. a student changed his major from psychology to literature, he's interested in philosophy and psychology. Also a solo musician, lots of friends/acquaintences, goes out a lot, travels a lot, worked as a personal assistant (for an elderly person). Seems naturally artistic (takes interesting photos, such as dogs with wings. his home seems neatly decorated). Very expressive. Think multiple exclamation points.

he also has had shoulder length hair before. Sometimes when I'm talking to him i get surprised. His discourse is uneven, sometimes he talks a lot sometimes he doesn't. But something might be lost because english is not his first language.

He reminds me of a graduate instructor i had once. want to confirm what i think his type is..

Yup ENFj. Sounds a lot like a multi talented ENFj friend of mine, they even share some interests (psychology, music, photography, art, decorating...). And he looks ENFj too. No doubt about this one.

The graduate student he reminds me of is an IS(F)p.. I thought this guy was Fe subtype ExFj.

I guess I thought he might be ESFj because of his job.. there wouldn't much talking or mentoring going on in that relationship, and he did not complain about it, he sought the job and by all accounts seemed to enjoy taking care of his client. I've never observed him working though.

He is sort of quieter when we talk, and seems to let me direct the conversation.. I haven't known many ESFjs but this seems to point more toward ENFjs, the ones who i've know have been reserved at least with strangers. But we mostly don't talk about philosophy or anything.. it's mostly about music and just chit chat.. again reminding me of ISFps I've known.. but again also this is maybe because we're not very close friends or anything. Though, seems like with ENFjs I talk about "intellectual" subjects right of the bat.

also.. hehe not sure if this matters but I feel that his music taste is alpha .... and i've known ENFjs whose taste was more.... not alpha.. for example... a good portion of what he likes is slower and atmospheric. Seems to be too boring for an ENFj. Not ballads, but slower, and atmospheric.

Oh yeah, and he doesn't seem that reserved even if he's quieter with me, because he smiles a lot. He happened to be sick in the pic

thanks 95. Yes, that's interesting. My mother is ISFp and yes, she always looks very sick when she is even a little sick.

Dudeins, the only undisputed ESFj on the site, was a psychology major. Of course, ExFj did change to literature which is less practical.

Well my friend likes to paint and decorate her walls for example, she is quite artistic. She is very specific about which colours she wants eg rather than objects. She also likes music like Qntal and Helium Vola a lot, atmospheric music if you like. She has a very wide taste in music. She writes and records her own music, plays several instruments. Works as a psychologist, but plays with the thought of moving into Opera at some point. She has studied music too, and languages. Basically she is a polymath, she does whatever takes her fancy and what she does she does well.

mhm i think Exxj are mostly very driven. Doesn't surprise me at all that they'd go far.. YLS.. yummy and awesome.

I will consider ISFp but yeah.. seems ExFj.
