You're retarded... you do know there are male ESE's, right?

    now to answer your question...

    1. Sex
    2. Chitchat

In that order. Now, after getting to know my ESE roommate also... I'd have to put this the same for female ESE's too.

Same for my husband. But he would probably throw "money" in there somewhere. He claims he worries/thinks about money a lot (even though we have plenty, but I think it's more like how we're managing it and saving for the kids' college, etc.)

But yeah. Sex money and chit-chat. Basically. LOL

ESE's aren't all bad. Honestly they just need to learn to shut the fuck up

Edit: And yes, a close friend is an ESE and all he does is talk in general and talk about girls.

and less emotional (my husband gets riled up about the littlest stuff: "look at all the papers everywhere, covering every flat surface in the house! *rant rant rant* Do you people enjoy living in a mess?" Yes, we do. And making you miserable. Just kidding. This is, however, probably the biggest issue in our household as strange as that may sound).

Yes and that, but I think EVERYONE needs to be a little less emotional, but especially ESE's

Hmmm... there might actually be some merit in this, but I still think he is mostly ESFJ. The J/P was my biggest doubt with him though. Here's his socio score:

this is irritating. my mother does this but she never says a peep to my brother who lets these really scary organic messes grow in places such as his bedroom. it isn't even "disgusting" or dangerous clutter or whatever, just clutter. mostly an explosion of books and magazines.

yeah, that aspect seems nice. i'm not a grand conversationalist or whatever so sometimes i'm okay with someone who wants to talk a lot because then i'm not sitting there awkwardly trying to come up with crap to talk about. i'd rather have that than have to cater to the dude who doesn't care to talk to me or wants to be left alone all the time or whatever (i have too many of those tendencies myself i think.) not to say that i don't love my alone time as much as the next guy. hell, sometimes i think i might be IEI.

What type are you, implied? For some reason, I thought you might be IEI. Yes I'm no grand conversationalist either so it IS nice that I don't have to do that sort of work in the relationship. I should be glad of that. I have a SEI friend who seems to expect me to do all the initiating so that he can respond (and it's clear that he enjoys responding) and I'm tired of that. Muster up your own conversation there, mister. Or find yourself an ENTp (which is what he really wants, although he doesn't know personality types from a hole in the wall. He thinks I'm an extravert but that's only because I get tired of waiting for him to ask the questions, awkward silences, etc. oh and there's plenty of that at his house I think. His wife is INFj. Can you imagine the I-I marriage. I would enjoy it for about a month and then decide that things were too quiet. Oh the passivity. Oh the silence. Oh the guessing games. I think I would strangle him. Okay so I'm glad I have my ESE. thanks.)

Bee, he sounds like a definite ESE. Don't listen to Machintruc. He's a crackpot.

I dragged him in here to discuss the theory of it all (he was not amused, as I keep on and on about it lately), and he has decided that he's ESE with a hint of p in there somewhere, about 25-30%. Thanks for the head's up Mysticsonic!

On my signature, you can read my type. I use three-letter code to avoid to be confused with Myersian types. This is especially useful if your socionic type and your Myersian type are different.

haha, well, the thing is, if the guy isn't doing like, at least 70% of the pursuing in the relationship i'll sort of lose momentum (not like i don't do any, just, yeah!) i hate chasing guys and i'd rather be chased/pursued. actually i'm thrilled if a guy is calling me all the time, especially if i like him, even if i'm not showing it overtly. i don't think i'm looking for a "challenge" or whatever exactly. the SEI would drive me absolutely nuts and i'd probably wind up mad or at least secretly frustrated and cursing him. i might be IEI, but honestly the idea of a dual called the conqueror sounds awful. also, i find some of the ESTjs/ISTps here too charming to be their conflictors. only person who has ever made me seriously consider this on this board is krae who is like, what, extreeeemely Ni INFp?

Yeah I hear you on the pursuing. But it's not like my friendship with said SEI is romantic or anything--we're just friends. Still I find it annoying. I like ISTps a LOT also. I dated one in college and he was the most mysterious charming wonderful guy ever. ESTjs? not so much. So you might be INTp? Or ?

I believe it. They make awesome lots of things but they are not for me. Actually I know one who is really nice and seems like he wants to be friends. But there are things about him that irritate the living daylights out of me. I haven't let on though so he's still super friendly (and we only know one another on a very superficial level). I think it might be hard having an ESTj as a dad. (well of course it would if you were INFp!)

What irritates you about him? Does he always offer unsolicited advise about stuff you're trying to figure out ?? Cuz that happens to me and it's pretty annoying

He thinks no one else can do a job better than he can. He also tries to intimidate others (he tried to do it to me once but when he saw that he couldn't, he suddenly became friendly and more respectful, LOL) by pushing his own rules/social norms onto them and expecting them to do what he would do, as if that's the only way to behave.

Yeah that's pretty annoying too. But generally if ya stick up to him and prove yourself competent, I've found out that I can hold my own pretty well. Damn extraverts.

haha, i think i'm IXTp still. not sure on Si vs Ni. some of the Ni stuff here irritates me in some formats. like i don't believe in bullwhipping people into completing work more quickly or whatever, especially since i think this can sacrifice quality sometimes. on the other hand if they're taking advantage of that and not working at all i'd get pissed, too. this is crap to me and if you do a bad job due to being pressed too hard, whatever, crap crap crap. but i'm always surprisingly complimented when someone says i work quickly.

going by the generally negative ESTj stereotypes -- i have an ESTj brother who's pretty freakin' cool. i don't know, i don't always find ESTj to be that ridiculous in their assessment of how much work should be done. on the other hand, i admit i wouldn't want to live under a slave driver. what irritates you about them? (eta -- oops, this has been answered.)

I did not want to ask in that thread that was recently created to discuss your type because you did not approve of it and this one is not about your type either I know. Still, I have had this feeling/impression for a long time that I can't quite get rid of that you seem INFj, sometimes INTps and INFjs can seem a lot like each other to me however. Is INFj a type that you have considered?
