Default Reverand Billy & The Church of Stop Shopping

I think Reverand Billy is a darling INFP:

You know speaking about materialism and suffering as I was so rudely cut off in the series of posts. God forbid a topic become clarified. It just goes to show that communication really is the enemy in a world of space cadets and fragile control freaks.

Is anyone familiar with the fact that the united states is only ranking 48 out of 169 nations in terms of the true level of the freedom of press? http://www.rsf.org/article.php3?id_article=24025

Through retail interventions, corporate exorcisms, and some good old-fashioned preaching, Reverend Billy reminds us that we have lost the true meaning of Christmas.
The Prose Edda doesn't say much about shopping - we're in the clear.

I dont think he's actually a religious person which I think is the real genius. He's described as an actor and an activist. He's trying to get people to make more conscious decisions, force corporations to make fair deals around the world, and keep us from buying into oblivioun in terms of our own financial wellbeing and the that of others around the world. Why is that so difficult? In his section where you sign up for newsletters or whatever he makes it a confessional where he admits he isn't composting...and then asks you to admit your "sins"...Composting is a trend some have taken on even here in nyc where the "rev" lives...A trend I found out about via the New York Times article about this man: http://noimpactman.typepad.com/
