Default Does this piece of music convey Fe or Fi?

I've only managed to get samples, but if you listen to the first and then the second, you'll get the meat of the song.

    Part I

    Part II

Hmm, I suppose Fe is an option. I'm being hopelessly subjective here, but it didn't quite do anything for me. It's hard to explain, so maybe an example or two would be more helpful.

This is what I think of as Fi music:

Nobuo Uematsu by way of Michael Huang by way of BobTheFish - Forever Rachel from Final Fantasy VI (one of the most touching songs I've ever heard, though the story behind it certainly makes it more so)

Also, the love theme from Final Fantasy IV performed by an orchestra as it was meant to be:

Might be hard to explain, but I feel that the whole mood of the first piece moves me in a way which actually makes my Fi flare up. Like I feel a connection to the music precisely because it's providing me with Fe. Dramatic emotional experience.

Fe POLR coming into play? Anyone else getting an Fe mood vibe from the first piece?

It is a somehow of progresive metal/rock band. They play some songs from all the final fantasy .

Right, evidently, Fi music bores the shit out of me.

That first song I posted is super pleasurable to my ears.

One thing; could someone tell me if Thomas Tallis' Fantasia on a Theme is Fi or Fe?

Listen here. You've all heard it before. It's the most beautiful piece of music I've ever heard in my entire life.

You know, I think we're talking less about socionic functions than we thought (or at least, I did) at first glance. I would say this second piece has elements of Fi, but what do I mean when I say that? I guess that it evokes an emotional response in me, a "feels like this" or reminds of what I felt when "such and such happened" sort of thing. Maybe that's the limit of what I mean? What is an Fe feel, then, I wonder? Does it make you want to express something outwardly towards other people? What about an Si/Se/Ni/Ne/Te/Ti feel, if the terminology or my way of 'saying' it even makes sense? Likely there are aspects of each in everything, with certain elements being more strongly expressed by the artist, or perceived on behalf of the audience. The question seemed easy initially, since I took it from my point of view, but perhaps it's a lot more difficult and comprehensive than I gave it credit for. Are we more likely to judge music according to those elements we value, or that we're strong in? Hmm...all I can say is that I agree that this second song is a good one, Ezra.

Maybe this video (David Bowie - Sense of Doubt) shows negative Fe-styleness? The lethargic expression, the name of the song, the disharmonius music etc.? (Any excuse to post Bowie vids I guess - I'm sure this music it could be reflective of a Fi type's mood too, so meh).

Stupid video, but I think especially the early part of this song, where Orson Welles recites, convays pretty well.

Sounds like an EII trying to give advice to an LSE.

Yeah, the singer (Eric Adams) is very likely to be LSE.

    just my opinion...

As for the OPs, I can't really tell. I might have to listen to it a few more times to be clear.

Edit: If I listen to part 1 and then 2 it feels to my ear.

The mood feels very "there's something in the air/there's something amiss" in the first one, and then in the second one, action takes place to address it ("Let's move").

Good examples. The first one is Alpha; there is lots of Ne and Si in it too. The second one - Gamma? I think it is Fi because it's more about expressing the guy's internal emotional conflict than conveying a constantly shifting mood like the first one.

The videos, or the two parts of the song in the original post?
