Pretty sure about his type.
Here's a great picture for typing, but I can't get it to post:

But, for a certainty, back then,
We loved so many, yet hated so much,
We hurt others and were hurt ourselves...
Yet even then, we ran like the wind,
Whilst our laughter echoed,
Under cerulean skies...
I remember seeing a stand-up comedy from when he was younger and I typed him ESTp. He looked so very very ESTp. But here the last picture looks more like ESFp or something similar. (haha, not saying that ESFps make a hamster-face. Just that he looks rather serious in nature here).
EIE, ENFj, intuitive subtype.
E3 (probably 3w4)
Cool ILI hubbys are better than LSIs any time!

I actually think he's ESE. His Fe is impeccable: he establishes this immediate level of familiarity or comfort with an audience, a lot like Robin Williams. When you listen to them talk in a stand-up routine, the style is so laid back that it's more like they're telling a story to a small group of friends in their living room than an actual audience.
The only thing that would make me question ESE would be that he sometimes seems like he values Se>Si.

i was kind of wondering about ESE, too.

I know a guy that looks like him. My guess is ESFp. He looks sort of EXFp in that last picture in the link.
(edit) Here it is:

I thought ENFp for his type.
From Wikipedia: "rambling, whimsical monologue and self-referential pantomime."
He has this very flowing, stream-of-consciousness style that would seem to suggest a dynamic type, maybe Ni-Ego. ENFj is my preliminary (but not conclusive) typing for him.
@Gilly. You're right about the Fe.
Eddie Izzard - ENFP - Huxley
I suggest Si/Ne too - that's the only thing that stands out to me so i guess he is either irrational or irrational subtype
I've seen him typed as EIE but not certain. Most likely one of the ENxx types, so/sp 3w4.
one of my favorite clips by him:
