Yeah, I've been trying to understand the ESFp for a while, but I've had very limited RL examples to study (my aunt, and a girl I briefly dated). So, since liveandletlive showed up, there's been very interesting insights into the workings of the ESFp; It's nice to have one on the forum (althought it'd be nice to have more).
So, big ups to liveandletlive!
oh, well, no joke with that. i never meet ESFps nor ESTjs on the internet really, which sucks. it's a good excuse to get out of the house!

OK so i posted this in the beta forum (NT gamma bosses thread) and i just wanted to let all the ILI's how awesome and amazing you guys are too!
What do you find on ILI ? What makes you attracted by ILI dudes/girls ?
i like that i have to work for everything i get from them- a smile, a laugh, etc., i like that they are willing to help me get my shit together. i like that they love my crazy, irrational ways and love me for me. i like that im the only one that will take their shit and understand why they're giving me shit and love them anyway. i like the intellectual conversations and debates we're able to have and fight to the death and then kiss and make up ten minutes later. i like that they're like my untapped secret that no one knows about but me... no one knows how special, unique, and deeply misunderstood they are. i like that no one can make them laugh but me. it gives me a greater purpose than just making some meaningless dumbass laugh (which i still do about 99% of time time). i like how i never have to doubt their love for all of the above reasons. i feel so lucky to have them as my dual. You can agree- in which case high five. Or you can disagree- in which case, you just proved my point. Either way I don't care because I love every "nerdy" inch of them.

lol, I almost never visit the Alpha, Beta or Delta forums. I kind of feel like they're common rooms or clans of some sort, with Gamma obviously being the one I belong in.

haha definitely. it's wierd though because i can't hang out with other ESFp's. I read on socionics.com that in identity relations one person turns into the dual/realizes themself in the other person... i just see so much irrationality and it makes me feel sad about myself because im so irrational lol. how do the rest of you gammas feel about your identities?

This turned from a kind of pickle-internet .. pseudo molestation thread into something very interesting.
I always have to remind myself, to be myself around my dual... I am so tempted to try and act a certain way. It always fails.
Just look at them like they're stupid until they make you laugh, then laugh and start looking at them like they're stupid again... and talk when you actually care about something, ignore everything else.
But usually ESFps have so many friends they aren't looking for another, at least.. the one I'm thinking of. But she is my conflict dual type ESFp-ISTp.. so maybe that's why.
I actually had that in mind when posting thatYeah like Harry Potter isnt it?
EDIT: Just to prevent any misunderstandings down the road, I'm not a follower of HP these days (used to be in my younger years but not now) so any attempts to discuss HP in great detail with me will likely yield little fruit. Just a general warning to all, because I really have nothing better to do at 5 past midnight when I need to be up for work in about 6½ hours. Oh fuck I'm going to regret this in the morning.

I mean, 256 types is too many, not elegant, and totally useless.
