Default LSEs and .... Ninjas, Secret Agents, etc...

Hey - I notice Aut0, who claims to be LSE, has a Ryu Hyabusa of Ninja Gaiden/DOA in his avatar.
I am a big fan of Ninja Warrior, and I posted things about Ryu before.

...... do you see a connection here?

LSEs general fans of such action heroes?

If you are LSE, post some things you like.
If you know an LSE, post some things they like.
    And so on.
Posts I wrote in the past contain less nuance.

I'm an INFJ, but I definitely dig Ninja Warrior. How awesome that must feel to devote your life to continual testing and self-improvement!

lol, I actually am a ninja... I wear white myself, but I work under yellow lights so it looks different.

I dunno why, i just always get a kick out of that picture since i'm one of the only people I know to have a pic of me in the fab... there's a million different hoops you have to jump through to take a camera into where I work, I just knew someone that was needing pics of some equipment and I said, "dude, i need a new myspace pic, take my picture."
Still not an LSE though...lol My avatar may be saying otherwise if it takes an LSE to be into ninjas...haha.

Ninjas, huh? No hard feelings, but... I'm a pirate.

All I can say is - they recruited me first.
Oh, to find you in dreams - mixing prior, analog, and never-beens... facts slip and turn and change with little lucidity. except the strong, permeating reality of emotion.

I don't actually play games anymore, I have the Ryu icon cause it reminds me of my childhood, I played Ninja Gaiden on NES when I was a kid, brings back fond memories.

Ok... totally wasn't expecting Minde to say something non-serious

Ninjas are overrated. They're likeable, but overrated. Besides, Agent 47 beasted their ass on the castle level and then wore their outfit:

Spartan warriors are where it's at. Before 300 they were just as cool:

The 300 Spartans made them truly uncool:

There's also something appealing about the SAS:

The training they put you through is hell. They'll dump you in a snowstorm with a pair of boots, an overcoat and a combat knife and set hounds loose on you.

There was only one cool pirate: Captain Jack Sparrow.

Pirates stink, have loose morals, live on a boat surrounded by other men, talk like less-than-commoners, and they smell bad are are totally unhygienic. They don't eat well, have really bad prospects in general, and are just plain ugly.

Pirates have a hell of a lot more fun. That is, for those of us who believe in such things.

Pirates exist. But they don't drink booze from bottles, they don't go "y'aarr, mateys" (they were eradicated by the US/UK a long time ago) and they don't swing from ship to ship. That is a bygone era. Today, they sit at the computer, legally download a copy of LimeWire or BitTorrent, and illegally begin to acquire music and film in the mp3/wma/m4a/ogg and mpeg4/avi/mov formats respectively, to go on to make a profit from said acquisitions. There is still a large amount of piracy in the South Pacific - they are where Europe and the US was 300 years ago. This is normally along the lines of the robbery - of one criminal organisation by another criminal organisation - of drugs, people, arms, or other shipments where a profit is to be made.

Pirates stick, are ugly, and life their life surrounded by other such men on a boat in the middle of nowhere. They have to rob and pillage towns because they are not skilled at anything else, and because they are so unhygienic, they have to steal women as the only way to get some now and then.

But generally speaking, they aren't even good enough at that, so they just have to pay the hookers...

    Yo ho
    yo ho!

    A pirates life for me.
    I'll pass, thanks.

Ninjas have a sense of honor, and are generally more concerned about other things than getting wasted on their big boat of lads. Such things like saving the world, or, spreading enlightenment come to mind. Or heck, even fighting bad guys.

    Ryu (streetfighter)
    Ryu Hyabusa
    Solid Snake
    Sub-Zero
    Reptile
    Scorpion
    Liu Kang
... the list goes on and on...
"Grasshopper" from "Kung Fu, (TV show)"

    Ninja Warrior TV show!

How can pirates hope to compete?

    Of what, LSE?

    I can go for that.
That's generally how I dress anyways

PS: If you think about it, the spys, secret agents and such of ancient China/Japan and so on --- they were Ninjas

Ninjas do not come from China. Chinese secret agents are not and never have been ninjas or ninjaesque.
