mysterious thread from the past + my memory

Ok. This is going to sound weird.

I remember reading this forum a long, long time ago, when I hit upon a thread that had some strange ramblings about the Ni functions and it having to do with 'dialectics'; eg. how it brought more certainty than Ne but left the person in a state of constant "angst" due to the need to find an 'antithesis' before one could ever find the 'synthesis' that was so craved for.

Now I am wondering about two things...

- was this thread written by someone important whoose words should be paid attention to?

- what on earth could it have been about?!
