I don't know where any of the terminology originally came from, but I was using the terminology for intertype relations listed on the16types.info and socionics.com before I knew of the terminology used on socionics.us.

These questions are hard to answer because no one's seriously suggested another type for me, except you, Joy, and that wasn't really a suggestion for another type but an idea that I wasn't INFj. And I, myself, after making the move from MBTI, have never really questioned my type. Everything fits as fine as one could expect. So it's hard to give any type of reaction to a suggestion as to my type except curiosity.

And, yeah, I don't like the differing terminology, either. Just another confusing element to it all.

Why do people assume I don't know my own type? I do have some idea, and always have done. For example, I'm clearly not Fi or Ni leading. No one on this forum has ever claimed that I am an EII (save one person, who was wrong according to both Courage and Phaedrus), ESI (except FDG, and others, jokingly), ILI or IEI. I don't think I'm Si or Ti leading. I know I value Si to some extent though. It is quite a large part of my life actually for some reason; making myself comfortable. Even if it means making myself uncomfortable, it still might be to make myself comfortable. If I decide that I want to toughen myself up, by putting myself through pain, I am gaining comfort from the fact that it is useful to me. People say I value Ti, but I just make up systems and make outlandish statements for the fun of it. My views aren't really that well organised like a Ti leading. Fe or Ne leading is highly unlikely. I don't have the explicit emotional expression of a Fe leading, nor the power of emotional manipulation. I'm too connected and down-to-earth; practical and realistic to be Ne leading. I can only be Te or Se realistically speaking. I am edging towards Te.

Anyway, from deductive reasoning, my next type must be Quasi. I can only see myself as either an SLE, LSE or LIE. Since I think it highly unlikey that I have Si PoLR, I am probably SLE or LSE. Therefore whichever one I am, the next likely type will be Quasi.

I already gave you this but I'll stick it in here:

anndelise: heh, my mind went around in circles
anndelise: it was like....well, the only other possible option is another nfp, but that would put me as infp and that would put it as Ni Fe and neither of those are options..Ne Fi are the only ones that make any sense
anndelise: but the only option there is INFj....and that doesn't make any sense either
anndelise: the only T type that is interesting to me is Te, but that would mean Si or Ni...and I suck at both
