Those who use Fe. ESE less so than EIE. EIE is not a favorable type in my eyes.
I also wouldn't like to be called IEI, but this would be more of a case of my showing that someone was so, so wrong as opposed to my getting offended over it.

I used to feel that way, but these days I feel more complimented than anything when people suggest most other types (with only a few exceptions), especially my activity partner.

No, it's because they're seeing different strengths in me. It's a compliment to be told I have strong Se or Fi, for example. Especially Se.

I am interested in these results.
Although, it would be more informative if the distinction could be made between feeling insulted because of the representatives of the false type you've known, or because of the profile descriptions/more abstract reasons. Could rule out some of the more indiosyncratic biases based on fallible human relations.
Ezra, the thing I like best about you is that you really know who you are. I like that you are so well aware of your likes and dislikes, and your confidence in the level of closeness in your relationships impresses me. Your strong and well thought out moral system is also impressive. You're great at understanding not only how you feel about things and people, but also why you feel that way. I think more people should be as intensely loyal to their convictions and loved ones as you are.
That's another way of saying that I am Fi.
It's intended as an example of complimenting someone for having strong Fi (whether they're a Fi type or not).
So if someone reads that for themselves and instinctively think it's a bunch of sarcasm, and is blocking feelings of offense ... as though it's hitting on fears deep inside they are NOT doing those things enough and thinks it's being passive-aggressively pointed out ... what might THAT mean about their type?
