Default Shame for not be able to 'find' my type

The other day, with a good friend and classmate converse on our interests, and the first thing that came to my mind was the idea of socionics. As soon as I commented my idea to him, he laughed a bit and said to me that I was worrying too much for finding my personality on the Internet, I felt shame, shame and somehow mad with myself when he said it that to me.

Is this type relate?? Ti PoLR??

He is probably Alpha and LII.

I try to avoid comment personal things like this... I don't like feeling shame and stuff like that, and that's why some people said that I'm introvert (and just in that way).

no i think that could be Fi polr. yours.

since an Fi dominant would value a process of self understanding.

I can't relate to that at all. I don't feel even a little bit of shame about my long lasting type search (which is about to end soon I believe!). Some people probably think I should feel shame and all those other bad feelings but it seems I'm just getting more enthusiastic.

So if Blaze is right you might be ENTp or ESTp. Perhaps ENTp if an INTj can make such an impact on you. I'm curious as we are very different in that sense and I'd wish to know if you have Ti PoLR or Fi PoLR.

If other people who I don't know and don't care said that I'm wastng my time investing on socionics or whatever I like I get away and won't pay more atention on him anymore. But when people that I care and I interest said 'negative' things to me I feel like an Idiot.

And yeah, I'm too changeable. Sometimes I believe that I could be in the Epsilon Quadra because all type looks like me depending of the time!
Maybe, I have to look more on functions than type.

and XoX, best wish in you finding!

Maybe you're right here. I get a bit ashamed becaused I can't be more competent like him. I mean, he knows a lot and have a cool personality, but when I talk things like socions and personality, I try not to make comments with my friends because I know I would end looking like an idiot and weak, I don't like that. I don't truly care with others but personal persons who I care yes I do.

    EDIT:::

Oh and of course, I believe in the posibility of being ISFp. I mean, I'm pretty sure that I'm not Rational, probably Ethical.
XXFp are my cards in this 'game'. Anyway, I don't believe in INFj or ISFj, just for temperament I'm more 'crazy', not balance or stable at all .

of course I did, but I'm going to decide/answer tomorrow (something like... 18 hours away), here is too late and I'm going to get drunk...

Anyway, which this thread is not in "I wanna know my type" I would answer maybe in another thread. Or Pm you or something. I just want to know or just understand if this kind of situation could be typiable, function related or even quadra related.

your friend was probably uncomfortable from the situation and responded condescendingly. i mean, it is typical behaviour in groups of some males-- if someone lets his guard down( talking about socionics, and personality theory) then he might be attacked. oh well. i suggest talking about something more impersonal amongst male friends, especially if they don't seem like they would be interested in socionics.

For once heath makes sense. I have faced that attitude. Brought up something related to psychology or type theories in a group of males and the response has usually been light attacks in the form of jokes like "Haha. I thought the reason you go to bed so late is porn but it is some psychological bullshit, haha. I need a new beer and you need to switch back to porn.". Then later on when one on one some of those people have brought up the subject again like "umm..what was the thing about socionics and all the psychological crap you talked about? Do you have any pointers I might check it out if I have nothing better to do on sunday".

Don't worry about not having "found" your type yet. Most of the people who pick a type right away are wrong, yet a lot of them cling to it and build their understanding of the theory around it, and that does a lot more harm than good, obviously. There's absolutely nothing wrong with not having claimed a type, especially since you're still so new to the theory.

Be ashamed no more, your type is ISTJ. Rejoice.
Well I am back. How's everyone? Don't have as much time now, but glad to see some of the old gang are still here.

    -----------------------

Now, about what Dee ask, here's my answer, but first I want to make clear that it was really difficult to me know the 'correct' answer.

    Progress
    I guess Tactical
    totally declarative
my gf said that I'm negativist
..mmhh Decisive a little more than judicious
about contructivist and emotivist I dunno

Sometimes ago, I mean, a years ago I take my first psychometric test on similarmind.com.
My result were between INFP and INTP. Anyway, after all that I knew about socionics, I don't totally fit in the INTp description.
Maybe, and I said MAYBE, ISTj would be a Good choice... but I like EP temperament...

I use the wikisocions and the socionics.com (I guess that is the name). My thinks still to irrational. ISTj seems to be more 'disciplined', maybe my thinking are more structured, I mean, when I wanna said something important I try to analyse what I have to say, but that's just a special case. Not everyday I think what I have to say or do.

I fucking hate when the ring sound... I don't want to open the door/get the phone when I'm irrited, concetrate or just 'busy in something more important'. Even if the call is for me. When I'm done or simple free or charge I don't mind to open the door or get the call, but I don't try to take the innitiative.

I don't know dude, maybe I need to express things more deeply embarrassment. I'm going to elaborate my list of 'things that I don't want to say about me' soon.
