I know I've done this before, but what the hell, it can't hurt. The guy on the left with the glass... that's the way I look when I talk, so tell me what you think.

You become obsessed with certain things just like a true IP - ISTp would...

I didn't, Jung did.
But that's not really the point. :/ I already know this about me. The fun was supposed to be in watching someone sit and talk and noticed their mannerisms and so on to see how you think they relate.
hmmmm maybe it's not the main point but it could be an important one nonetheless. so what did jung say and why do you agree with him?Originally Posted by Rocky

I think I've mentioned this a lot...
Jung said something pretty simple in regards to energy... (paraphrasing), "An Extraverted type does a thousand things in one way, and an Introverted type does one thing in a thousand ways"... basically the definition of obsessive behavior. For example, if I'm going out somewhere I have to check to make sure I have what I need 5 or 6 times... even if I know it's in my pocket, I just have to be sure. Jung said an Introvert thinks that the thousand-and-first time they do something may be different from the first thousand.
What he keeps doing with his right hand is really annoying.
Well, at least you were the first to comment on the video.
He seems pretty nervous... and fidgety.
Exactly.
... why "intuitive"?
HAHAHAHA... sounds so familiar...Originally Posted by Rocky

I can see why you might think he's your type (lawl, innuendo) by the war he moves and such. Kinda nervous and fidgety like, 'Ok, now what?'

I would say it's being verbally introverted... not really knowing what to say. Though when it comes to preforming, he never looks nervous... always beastly. I have proof;Ah-haaaa, reminds me of the conversation we had about OCD the other day.

edit/// just noticed he's wearing the same outfit as in the video, lol... he always dresses like that... type related?

Half the time he doesn't seem to care about anything else or more precisely - anyone else. This makes me exclude Fe dominants. His mannerisms are p>>j. Movements are fast and unexpected even for himself. Mostly IP. He sits and observs and then he makes his move. He says something about "planting seeds, seeing them grow" etc. Plus he's waiting for things to change half the time. But when he makes his move (starts talking) he interrupts his friend a couple of times. I think this also shows that he's dynamic>static. It's like he's fluctuating between EJ and IP temperament, but he's in IP mode most of the time. I'd say he's Ni-dominant.
I can not see ISTj here. Maybe you percieve yourself falsely and maybe you're still ISTj.

An Ni type wouldn't criticize the intellectualization of music; this guy hates music theory.
OK, my point was to make a distinction between verbal introversion and physical extraversion. The people who commented on this video automatically assumed he was Introverted (by the way he talked). But I posted this video awhile ago and people assumed he was an ExxP. In that video, where he's performing, he's energetic, smooth, comfortable. I think this is an example of when someone has Introverted Judgement (hard to put in words what he's thinking, which would be Extraverted Judgement), coupled with Se.
In my opinion.
Oh I don't understand why people intellectualize music! There can't be a theory to explain music as a whole. Or parts of it. The classification of music changes all the time. Why do peale have to draw a clear line between rock and metal. Oh it sucks so bad. That just makes people add angry growling man or an opera woman to any pretty music that sounds almost like metal.Originally Posted by Rocky
Obviously you're wrong. But what you said made me decide that he's not very likely INTp because INTps like to define things. Maybe INFp then.
In stead I'd point your attention towards your black&white classification - Ni type would not criticize the intellectualization of music. Category "Ni type" always points away from "criticizing the intellectualization of music". Two categorys which never overlap. (Bullshit BTW, Ni types can critizize whatever they want to critizise).

BTW, the guy in question is not a feeling type, although I think his friend in the video is. This guy's got a sharp business sense; he's the ONLY person on a major label I've ever heard of to get both copyright and publishing credits to himself (along with a bunch of other nice things, like the ability to pick the producer and to be able to hand in albums sight-unseen).
No offense, dee, but your opinion means nothing to me.
I saw your post before you edited it.
It's really nothing personal, I just don't see any reasoning used to back up your opinions.
